Steelers 1st round picks
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40070527/source-steelers-decline-rb-najee-harris-fifth-year-2025-option Just an interesting story. Pittsburgh is in a bit of a slump. I guess they’re declining Najee Harris’s 5th year option. That means they have either declined the option of, or traded, 5 of the ...

Gimme some of that. Harold Perkins Jr. LB LSU, James Pearce Jr. DE Tennessee, Deone Walker DT Kentucky, and Mason Graham DT Michigan are my top defensive prospects for next year.

Re: Some last minute fill ins for the roster
Well the offseason roster limit is 90. Not counting the recent UDFA additions, the Bears have 73 players on the roster (including futures contract guys). So they are going to have to fill out the roster for camp, but I would imagine the final 3rd TE comes via waver wire during camp cuts. They signe...

Re: Some last minute fill ins for the roster
Tight end is a must. We only have Kmet, Everett, and someone named Stephen Carlson on a futures contract.

Really interested in where they want him. If he stays at tackle, and develops sooner rather than later, maybe we get a late pick for Brax next year.

Re: Day 2
Here are my hopes for day 2. I would like to see us trade our Carolina 2nd round pick, and a 6th round pick to get into the 2nd round this year. PJ for a future C, or maybe Adisa Issac as an opposite to Sweat. I had the exact same idea. Maybe our 2nd and a 5th would get it done if it’s later in the...

Re: New Uniforms
I don’t want an overhaul, per se, but I do think changing all our units to block numbers would be a nice modernization.
I think they should make a home version of the 1936 throwbacks and make those our official unis.

As a Florida guy, I love Rocky Pearsall, but I’m honestly surprised how high I’ve been seeing him going considering he’ll be a 24yo rookie. He’s miles ahead of Velus as a player, but I think he’ll go somewhere in the 3rd.

Verse may not have had a “breakout” year so-to-speak, but he is consistent. He had 9.5 sacks as a freshman at Albany, 9 sacks as a sophomore, and 9 sacks as a junior at FSU. His opposite at FSU, Patrick Payton, will be getting drafted next year for sure, but playing opposite Tez Sweat should make li...

There’s a few safeties I like, but I don’t think we should be looking at corners unless we find ourselves back in rounds 5-7. Some guys I like are Jarvis Brownlee from Louisville, Beanie Bishop from West Virginia, Malik Dunlap from Texas Tech, Marcellas Dial from South Carolina, Johnny Dixon from Pe...

He has my respect as a football player. One of the GOATS. 2,000 yards in 14 games. Probably never going to happen again.

I turned this into a game and picked some random older spots and tried to remember who they were. I actually remembered some random ass ones like the Bengals ‘09 LB was Rey Maualuga from USC and the Panthers ‘16 iDL was Robert Nkemdiche from Ole Miss.

Like the moves by Roseman. Sign the younger edge rusher from the Jets for three years, and get a third(maybe second) from the Jets for the older guy on an expiring deal.

Re: What value would Braxton Jones have?
If we took a tackle, we’d have to keep Brax into the season when a team might need him. It’s like Justin. He can play, so his VALUE is high, but once he’s replaced, his MARKET will plummet.
