After spending last season as a backup QB for the Cowboys ... Mark Sanchez will visit the Bears on Thursday, source says.

Imagine, if you have the stomach, a QB depth chart entering the preseason of:

Mike Glennon
Mark Sanchez
Connor Shaw
Chad Kelly

Will love to hear Ryan Pace's spin if they sign him.

But how do you move on with him still on the roster? We all expected some dark days hanging out in QB limbo. It's not like Pace is trying to replace greatness. If Glennon is average, can finish the season and doesn't turn the ball over a bazillion times, I believe Pace can mark the Glennon signing in the win column.

Sanchez is Sanchez and given the amount of QB's we all saw last season, I can understand the concern. But let's pump the brakes. If Sanchez is signed, he will be the back up. A back up with a ton of starts under his belt. I would take Sanchez over a Barkley any day of the week.

You technically can't, I get it, but I'm just laughing at all the Cutler haters that couldn't wait for him to be gone, only to have Mike Glennon and possibly Mark Sanchez as their two QBs. Kind of hilarious in a dark, depressing, vindictive way.

I am not a Cutler Hater, but was 100% sure it was time for him to go

however my vision of moving on from him and building for the future involved Brian Hoyer and Deshaun Watson (with Watson taking over for Hoyer by mid-season), not Mike Glennon and Mark Sanchez

Maybe Sanchez is being brought in to show the rookie what not to do?

This is why I wanted Barkley, Shaw a rookie and $12m in change.

I think Glennon is a souped up Barkley. Bigger, more athletic, and a much better arm.

I've written my essay on why Glennon is a bad idea and it isn't on his base talent, plus not buying low on Barkley (to a multi year deal) was a huge tactical error. But even that aside, he's surely a better backup option than fucking Sanchez!

Chad Kelly is a very talented QB. I wouldn't mind picking him up.

Man, I remember bitching about Cutler and one of the arguments I heard was "who could they bring in that's any better?"...

I believe those who made that argument are being proven correct. right. this. very. moment.

GO8, I know you probably have me blocked still, but holy shit were you right.
