and pace takes out yet another emery pick.

With Ego Ferguson placed on waivers, only 6 of Phil Emery's 20 draft picks (2012-14) remain on the #Bears.

Still 12 Emery acquisitions total on the Bears...far too many.

I'm wondering why now? Did he just pass a physical or something? It's not a player-friendly thing to do releasing a guy in this weird no-mans land of FA.

They had to do something. They were out of numbers in the 90's.

I'm surprised.
Obviously, they weren't big on him and 34 isn't a good fit for him.
But still, with Jenkins and Sutton being really NT only guys, that leaves Bullard as the only backup at E.
I figured they'd keep Ego through the draft at least, as insurance.
More and more, I feel like they're all in on Allen at 3.

Wilson is a nice depth signing, approximately on par with Unrein. He's not starter caliber any more than Unrein is, though.BlueAndOrangeDog wrote:Bears resigned CJ Wilson last week.Moriarty wrote:I'm surprised.

That's why he reverted to IR after he was waived in camp last season. Must be some chronic issue...yay for high draft picks not working out for the Bears.
