He's 32 and just got released by the Jags. Not sure what his health situation is but any interest in bringing him in?

I loved him once upon a time... not sure how his health or play is these days. Wouldn't mind kicking the tires as a swing tackle if he's cheap!

Getting released right after the first PS game is a pretty harsh indicator about his ability to play. Especially by a pretty bad team like the Jags.
No thanks.
No thanks.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

I just read something saying he had retired, but learned he had to pay back some of his bonus so he came back a week later.
Sounds like he's donezo.

per rotoworld:
no thanksThis concludes what has been a bizarre cat and mouse game between Albert and the Jaguars. Albert announced his retirement after struggling at the start of camp, only to return a week later when he found out he may have to pay back some of his signing bonus. The Jags ultimately decided it wasn't worth the hassle and now Albert is free to sign with a team of his choosing. Coming off a lackluster year in Miami, it's fair to wonder how much Albert has in the tank or even if he has any interest in playing.

his mental health is what appears to be the issue
Jags : "Branden, you are out of shape and playing like shit. Please pick it up."
Albert : "Fuck this. I retire."
Jags : "Okie doke. Send back your bonus."
Albert : "Um ...... hey - I unretire!"
Jags : "Goodbye Branden"
