If you identified Mike Glennon to be your QB for 2017, what qualifies you to identify a competent HC in 2018?

What would your question have been?

Those are two completely different skillsets.

Better question is why, given the Glennon evaluation, he thinks Mitch Trubisky is the long term answer.

But even that isn't really applicable. Pace took a one year flyer on a QB FA they hoped would allow Trubisky to RS for a year. They clearly underestimated how bad Glennon was, how bad Dowell was, and how injuries would decimate the offense.
