I don't necessarily dislike Hundley, but he seems to be in a bit over his head at this point.

They've kind of failed to build a good team around Rodgers since that SB team. Per usual, they're also pretty beat up with injuries.

Coming off of a bye, and with how our D is playing. I think we get after the young QB, force some turnovers. Really kind of just smother them, and do enough offensively to win. Maybe a close game into the 3rd or early 4th, but the Bears lead the entire time and pull away.

I actually like us in these next two home games vs GB and DET. Outside of a few games, our 2nd half schedule is somewhat inviting. Home vs SF and CLE on there too. Makes me really wish we could have found a way to get just one of those close games we dropped. 4-4 coming out of the bye into some inviting games would be pretty sweet.

31-13 Bears.

Yeah, I said it... Humdley isn't going to be able to handle the Bears D. This will be the best game Trubisky plays to date, not monster numbers but will give a better look. This will be just as always with Howard leading the way. But the real win will be on the backs of the D.

Hundley looks more like a rookie than Trubisky does, and this is after sitting and should have been learning behind Rodgers ... I want the Bears defense to use and abuse him all day and it makes me smile that this wish is actually a legitimate possibility

I hope the Bears coaching staff used the bye week productively to come up with an NFL caliber more balanced offensive approach ... however I fear this game is going to be closer than it should be because of the likely continuation of the ultra-conservative mode

This is a terrible matchup for the Pack. Their only hope is to run the ball and keep us guessing. But our D is pretty good against the run. And the Fangio defense where you never know whose rushing will be a big problem for Hundley. Look for our defense to continue generating turnovers. On offense, their inability to generate a pass rush is a big problem. Biscuit gets the opportunity to gain some confidence at home. They couldn't stop the Lions and Stafford (who played pretty well) despite having almost zero running game. We're at home coming off a bye and they're on a short week. Bears also have a revenge factor, since we got our butts kicked in Lambeau.

I don't think I've picked the Bears to win yet this year. But that's changing in a big way today. I'm calling for a blowout.

(I was looking at this yesterday.) If the Lions beat the Pack (and they did) and then they lose and we win this week, we're tied for 2nd place in the division. But then I looked it up this morning and the Lions play the Brownies. :(

Packers looked bad last night, but I don't think they are going to be a pushover by any means. Still... I've got us winning this one; I think the team fights their asses off to try and save Fox's job:

Bears offense takes baby steps, defense has a party, McCarthy turns purple, gets heimliched.

Bears win 20-10

Probably Neill Armstrong's and Vince Evans's best day as Bears. :)

Bears favored over the Pack. Wow, has not happened in a long time. Trap game? I picked the Pack prior to season starting of course due to Rodgers. He gone, but I do not have a good feeling about this game. I don't expect much from either O. I believe TOs play a big part of the game. Crosby a far better kicker than Barf.

Pack in a low scoring close game.

I told my Packer backer friends they're a 5-11 team without Rodgers, and I stand by that.

Bears should win this one (I can see UOK's point, though).

I'm actually worried a bit after last night.

This seems like a bounce back situation for GB.

Classic NFL trap spot, where you think a team is ABSOLUTELY done and they come out with an inspired performance.

I just see it as, Hundley has more weapons to throw to than Trubisky does. Funky shit always seems to happen as well.

Sorry Lads, but I foresee horrible things for the Bears this weekend....

The good news is that our boy Trubisky puts together no less than 6 drives for 80+ yards for the beloved, really showing a true grasp for the offense and the personnel on the field. The bad news is that every drive ends in an overturned touchdown due to receivers breaking hips, dislocating hips, shattering femurs, and yes, another dislocated knee....I know, I know, I don't think it's funny either.

Although we leave Conner Barth excellent field position to make easy field goals, he misses 5 of his 6 attempts from 30 yards or less (3 hit the right post, 1 hits the crossbar, and another is shanked sideways and goes 4 rows into the crowd).

Further bad news is that Hundley is fucking spectacular! He goes 37 of 38 for 512 yards, 6 TDs, no INT's.... He's named the starting QB whether Rodgers comes back or not, ensuring superior QB play for the next 15 years for the Pack.

Purely based off what I saw last night of that team from Wisconsin and what ive seen all year from the bears, If chicago can beat the blitz, we will beat the packers.

I think this game is Tarik Cohen's true 'coming out' party and he scores 2 tds, howard gets 2 and Mcbride with another. 4th Q FG seals it.

A close first half but the wheels come off for the cheesedicks in the third quarter, where foxy plays to not lose.

The Bears haven't scored more than 27 points all season and they needed an over time with a defensive TD to get that. I don't see them scoring anywhere near 30 points but I do see the Bears winning a close one.

Watched part of the Packer/Lions game. The Pack did NOT look good. They couldn't move the ball, and our defense is A LOT better than the Lions. If Inman can get into the game, and Fox/Loggains give up this shit for brains conservative play calling, I think this one's not very close. I'm guessing we get one defense TD.

That's too bad. It sure didn't look like an ACL to me when it happened. It's a shame as that guy seems snake bit.

Good for us though.

When you break this game down, almost everything goes against the Pack.

Offenses... About equal. We have a better run game. They have better pass catchers. Both inexperienced QBs.
Defenses... Advantage Bears.
STs... They have a better FG kicker. We have a better punter and Cohen the wildcard. About even.
Location... Soldier... Advantage Bears.
Timing... Bears come off bye week. Packers have short week. Advantage Bears.
Trend... Packers have lost 3 straight with Hundley. We're 2-2 since Biscuit took over. Advantage Bears.

We rightly should be favored. But when you put our D against the Hundley led Pack, that's a mismatch made in heaven for us.

This to me feels like perhaps the most important game in the John Fox era, and if they lose this game, we can very seriously discuss the future of this coaching staff. The Packers are mired in injuries with a terrible QB, a coaching staff upset with management, and you're at home with the best defense you've had in years and enough talent at QB and RB to grind out enough points to win.

This WILL be a knee-jerk reaction game, for better or worse. If Barth misses a kick this week, he'll be released, I have no doubt about it.

I think you're largely right here. There's no reason we shouldn't win this game. If it goes wrong, people inside will and should be upset and questioning things.

Hundley looks absolutely turrible out there, Bears defense should feast.
