Nice views of Shaheen as well.

Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".
Go back to leather helmets, NFL.

So much potential if it is coached up right. Pace has really done a good job drafting young talent and I believe he'll continue that.
An offensive minded coach that helps Trubisky to that next level and this offense may be able to compete with the better O's in the league. Keep adding talent to the Defense and somehow keep them healthy and this team might have a window to make a run.
Nice find!

The thing these videos showed me is that Trubisky is throwing pretty well WITH ANTICIPATION. That's advanced development for a rookie who has played a half a dozen NFL games. And really surprising with Inman, who hasn't been here that long.

Possibly because Inman is a legit NFL WR and the trust was easy to develop.Mikefive wrote:The thing these videos showed me is that Trubisky is throwing pretty well WITH ANTICIPATION. There is a GM named Poles

Isn't it a shame that Howard isn't just a tad faster? Don't get me wrong, I love his game and wouldn't trade him in for anything(unless Payton somehow came back to life as a 20yr old).
His game is great and love his style(very Bear like btw), such a strong guy. He breaks some long gainers, and prob up there at the top of the lists of 10+ gains. But if he was slightly faster with an extra gear, he would have turned a few long gains to TDs..... of course, if he was another back he prob would have been tackled behind the line on many of those. Lol.

I think his poor receiving ability is much more of a liability than his lack of breakaway speed.46Blitz wrote:Isn't it a shame that Howard isn't just a tad faster? Don't get me wrong, I love his game and wouldn't trade him in for anything(unless Payton somehow came back to life as a 20yr old).

As far as liability, I couldn't agree more.Moriarty wrote:I think his poor receiving ability is much more of a liability than his lack of breakaway speed.46Blitz wrote:Isn't it a shame that Howard isn't just a tad faster? But I don't think the lack of an "extra gear" is exactly a liability, I mean he is great with what he has, he is great within the first 10-20yds and there is only a few guys like him in the league in what he does. IF he had that little extra, wow.

Jordan Howard is just fine. Yes, I wish he caught the ball better. But it's not like he never catches the ball. And yes, it would be fantastic if he had that extra gear to run away and score from 80 yards.46Blitz wrote:As far as liability, I couldn't agree more.Moriarty wrote:I think his poor receiving ability is much more of a liability than his lack of breakaway speed.46Blitz wrote:Isn't it a shame that Howard isn't just a tad faster? But I'm just fine with what he brings to the table in our climate and on our field. I love that guy. He's awesome at what he does.

I want to see his upper half re-vamped... look at how Rodgers/Hundley throw the ball. There is no wasted motion and that fucker comes out quick.
I hope Mitchell finds the right coach to help him clean that up.
