My apologies if a joke about a public story of the first time Brian and Bas met has forced you to selectively attack me.
I see no attack

YOGABBA wrote:I'd suggest perhaps googling, or even better YouTube, the two of them and you will see for yourself why I and another member of this forum made the joke.
or, since you're the one referencing some story others may not have seen, maybe you should post a link to the story that has you so tickled ... maybe we also might enjoy it ... or maybe we won't care ... but at least then we'd all have a shared reference point

Boris:

This is something that could have been easily done before you originally posted. I'd posit that the two pictures you posted in response to my original post could be seen as an attack.

Kudos to Url. I like the post retirement Url better than the playing Url. Seems like he has a good sense of humor.

Not a big fan of HOFs, but always good to see Bears enshrined. It will be a long while til the next one gets in I would imagine.

I'm sure they are getting the Connor Barth bust ready!!

Seriously though, I think a strong case could be made for Charles Tillman.

Kudos to you 2 for realizing a few things:

1) Bears site 1st, petty fights 3rd

2) This ISN'T Twit~ter = Nor is it a therapy session.
* If your jokes/non Bear related info is under~appreciated,
Maybe just move on right away.

3) This Forums Very 1st Bear Hall of Fame post!!!
(out of Thousands)
* THIS is the content that you chose to leave behind?! *

Most Importantly =
* Most of us have attacked/been attacked before.
* Do NOT mistake a disagreement for an attack.

I'm glad you guys realize (on your own) that we can all poke fun at ourselves & others = without distracting the forums conversations or making ourselves seem silly & petty.

WWUD?

A top 5 video of Urlacher who commits a penalty on one of the plays? Seriously?

Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Go back to leather helmets, NFL.

See... THIS is how you properly Hijack a HOF thread!
Still sort of (optimistically) on topic; it's a post that no one
wants to argue about & isn't super vague.

Plus it has the ADDED bonus of being self aware enough to realize it's residing on this great Bears sites ONLY Hall of Fame thread.

I see you Richie.
Over there hoping to be enshrined as this site's football Nastrodamus.
(it's 2036 btw)

What about....

Does Jay Cutler go into the HOF as a Bronco, Bear or Dolphin?

Cue picture of Cutler's Canton busy with a cigarette.

Noted Brain Genius Malk, Summer 2018.

Nonsense. He’ll go in thrice, one bust for each team.

Let's not forget the Vanderbilt Hall Of Fame. That should count too.

Just as we all predicted:

@DickersonESPN

Former Bears LB coach/defensive coordinator Bob Babich will present Brian Urlacher for enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August, the Hall of Fame announced on Monday.

I remember him getting Ron Rivera's job for no reason whatsoever and then sucking at said job. Lovie's nepotism at its finest.

I think he's inducting him as his position coach, and not his defensive coordinator.

*shrug* He's presenting him as Brian Urlacher's top choice, which is great for him. I'm sure Brian has his reasons.

Still, dude was a dogshit defensive coordinator here (ranked 3rd the year before he took over and 4th the year he was demoted) and in Jacksonville.

You're not. As much as I hated the guy as DC, (and boy did I) , you can't deny he got the best out of his guys. Having Urlacher and Briggs makes it look easy, but even our third stringers we're pretty solid back then.

Honestly never saw that coming. I never had a guess, and if I did, that would not have been one of them for some reason.
