Oh wow. He and Biscuit are playing catch together. Whoop-it-dee-doo.

Let's see White on the field for a full season contributing.

White wouldn't make it through a full season of flag football.

I know I said this in another thread...

But it really would be just a phenomenal story if somehow White panned out with a good season.

He would be a shoe-in for comeback player of the year.

I know... I know... but I can dream.

I mean, Thomas Davis tore an ACL three years in a row. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

I have a feeling he'll stay healthy this season, but we absolutely cannot rely on him as being a focal part of this offense in 2018. Treat it just like Kyle Fuller last season... don't pencil him in as a starter, don't expect anything from him, and if he takes the bull by the horns great for us.

Yeah, that's precisely how I am approaching it.

Expect nothing and plan as if he will not contribute. Then, you can only be pleasantly surprised if he does... and suddenly (provided we make decent additions at WR) you have somewhat of a deep core of talent at the position.

yeah but by that same token, to shine he's going to need to be given every opportunity to be on the field, despite any new signings. Im hopeful that it pans out like that for him.

Just a hunch, could be way off base but after he got hurt last season I said watch him stay healthy all of 2018 and ball out (spiteful at the time). Now I'm just rooting for the kid so who knows, maybe some positive vibes (that's for you Boris) could do him some good.

Ah, the 4th annual optimistic Kevin White pre-injury preseason report. Even Lucy of Peanuts fame can't get Charlie Brown to kick this football.

I too hope positive waves and your hunch are more applicable and leads to better things for him ... and at this point, hope and hunches are all we have

I feel like it's about time the Bears had an inspiring success story. "Perpetually injured former top 10 pick, almost out of the NFL, rebounds with 1400 yard season" has a nice ring to it.

When's the last time an NFL player broke bones in 3... errrr... 4 consecutive years?
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Go back to leather helmets, NFL.

I don't know and I don't want to find out

2015 - fractured his left tibia (load bearing bone)
2016 - fractured his left fibula (non-load bearing bone)
2017 - fractured his left scapula

Just bizarre man... I hope they're looking at his bone density to determine if this is genetic or just bad luck. I'm thinking (hoping) it's bad luck.

It’s gota be luck. Watch his WVU tape. He’d go up for catches then hit the turf hard.

You don't start getting bone density injuries in your 20s.

Unless your body has a problem absorbing calcium, then you absolutely can have them.

Sorry, to be more clear, I don't mean that's too young to have that kind of injury. I mean that if you've got a disorder that means they're more likely, it'd generally manifest before 22.

I don't count on anything from White, but I certainly hope he has a good year finally. Glad to see he has taken to working out with Trubisky.
