Bryant has been informed that he will be released by Dallas today.

I feel like at least a passing conversation on a Dez addition is somewhat inevitable.
I personally think we address WR post-first round in the draft. However, I don't think it's completely out of the question that the Bears have interest.
It doesn't seem like a move we'd make for a few different reasons, IMO. Maybe I am wrong, though.

Hard pass. Declining player and he's a fucking nutcase.

Yeah. I tend to agree.G08 wrote:Hard pass. Declining player and he's a fucking nutcase.
A career revival wouldn't shock me. I still think he has a lot of ability. However, I'd prefer not to be the one to roll the dice on it.
Like UOK said. Pace seems to have zero interest in taking on potential problems.

Dude's 30 and bad now. Someone will take a chance on him, but it won't (and shouldn't) be the Bears.

If they could figure out a way to keep him from being a focus, I wouldn't be opposed. Like the Patriots did with Moss, he was there but they have such a core of big personalities that they managed to keep the focus off him. But I just don't think there is an argument to be made that Chicago can pull that off right now.

Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

I want the Bears to acquire new and young players to build with not old but experienced hole pluggers
Bryant might be good for someone looking for a veteran presence, albeit a slightly psychotic presence, where is not looked at to be a leader

No. Thank you.
He is a headcase. We have some good pieces right now, and we don't need an overrated WR diva screwing up everything.
Nope. Nope. Nope.
