JUST IN: @TheAAF, the new pro football league that will debut next February, has named its second city and coach.
A team will play in ATLANTA and will be coached by former Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress.
Other city is Orlando coached by Steve Spurrier,.

Looks like Chicago is a 1-year stop for ol' Brad.
Brad Childress joins Bears as Snr. Offensive Assistant

I remember reading that it was only a temporary gig to help with the transition and he would not be with the team when camp opens in July. Then again I drink a lot, so it could totally be a figment of my imagination.

Right right, I'm honestly surprised he was even formally hired, but I imagine that was more of a league rules type thing in order to give him access to the facilities.Z Bear wrote:I remember reading that it was only a temporary gig to help with the transition and he would not be with the team when camp opens in July. Me likey.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

No real opinion on chilly, but if his old ass voice of experience can whisper in Nagys ear once in a while saying ' do whats working and dont be cute" i would be ok with it. I love Nagy but sometimes his cute playing calling doesnt work for me

After watching his complete shit show in MN that was only prolonged by some Farve magic dust I hope he is better at being an advisor than he was at everything else.

He's been here before. My understanding is that he helps install the offense.
How many coaches does it take to install a light bulb? No, I mean offense?

The detailed work that goes into each practice can be overwhelming. Since our head coach is also the play caller, that can make his role in practice tedious.
I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

I'm indifferent. As long as he helps when asked, and doesn't get in the way, then fine.

I like the move, he has experience in this offense, knows the WCO system down pat, and he's yet another coach on Nagy's staff with head coaching experience (Chuck Pagano being the other).
