So, no Bears players in the Top 100 this year (were there any last year?).

One of only 4 teams to not have a player. Reckon we'll have any in there this time next year? If so, who?

Looking at that list, it's criminal that Akiem Hicks isn't on there. There are many players on that list that he's better than.

Hicks probably should have made the list.
However, the general point that the Bears have had a massive drought of star players is undeniable.

Hicks and Howard, to me at least, should have made the list.

Yeah, those two are obvious. I’d imagine we’ll have more on the list next year after we lock down that 19th win of the season.

That list is a popularity contest, just like the Pro Bowl. If you took a poll from sports writers about the most talented players in the NFL we would surely have Hicks and Howard on there.

Yup.

And if this list isn't in the Bears locker room with a spotlight on it, it's a mistake on Nagy's part.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Go back to leather helmets, NFL.

No Hicks and Howard is ridiculous...

I've heard it's really just like a handful of players from like a dozen teams who get to vote and I would assume most don't take it seriously. Plus, we've been irrelevant for a few years.

I don't think 3-4 seasons is "massive" (Forte/Marshall)... but I do get that the struggle has been real.
