Bears linebacker Jamar Williams, a restricted free-agent who had yet to participated in voluntary workouts, finally signed his one-year tender Wednesday. He will make $1.176 million this season after being tendered at the low level, or original round-level. Williams was a fourth-round pick out of Arizona State in the 2006 draft.

Williams played in all 16 games last season, making two starts on the weak side. He made a career-high 19 tackles in the victory over St. Louis and was on the field for 25.6 percent of the defensive snaps for the season. He had a career-high 49 tackles along with two pass break ups and 10 special teams tackles.

With Williams and fellow linebacker Nick Roach signing their tenders this week, the Bears have two restricted free agents that remain unsigned: defensive end Mark Anderson and defensive back Danieal Manning. Anderson has been working out with the team, while Manning made his first offseason appearance Monday. Both signed offseason workout agreements that protect them in case of injury.
