The Chicago Bears announced today they've signed linebacker Brian Iwuh and released tight end Kevin Brock.
Iwuh played from 2006 to 2009 with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Last season he played in 15 games, starting two, but the Jaguars released him in April after trading for linebacker Kirk Morrison.
The Bears first brought Iwuh in for a minicamp tryout, and now they've signed him, reportedly for the veteran minimum of $630,000.
Brock spent the end of 2009 on the Bears' practice squad after bouncing around the league with the Panthers, Jets and Steelers. He has never played in a regular-season game.
