Also goes back to only reversing plays when it is indisputable.

Good good. Gotta make the nitpicky shit a thing of the past. Look no further than Miller's "drop" in what may have been his last play ever. Should've been a touchdown. Ruled incomplete due to a technicality.

There will still be fuck ups that drive fans mad, but this is good. Really should have happened after the Calvin Johnson catch but the NFL is a glacier.

the alleged Miller drop was the fault of Alberto "oops - forgot to feed my seeing eye dog" Riveron and his intentionally darkened replay footage where he could not even find the football

unfortunately Riveron has been re-upped by the NFL so is still in play to be the complete fuckup that he is, ready and able to ruin games ... the good news is the new catch rules mean they will not be going to him and his alleged expertise as often as in the past

It was so much better with the old rules... 2 feet down and control.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Go back to leather helmets, NFL.

That was a freaking catch. NFL stupidity at it's finest.

agreed

Calvin was sitting on his ass in the endzone with the ball in his hand and in clear control ... the fact he dropped it while standing up in no way should have made it an incomplete pass
