A stunner: Chargers plan to announce as early as Thursday they are moving to LA, ending 55-year stint with SD, league sources tell ESPN.

Stunner? This has been predicted since Kroenke cut the ribbon in L.A.

Rather a drag. I love San Diego. But it's all about chasing the stadium $, and owners always seem able to find another city to extort.

Been dragged out forever, but it was always going to happen. Same with the Raiders going off to Vegas.

Bad move. L.A. has never shown a lot of interest in football now they are going to get 2 teams?

Chargers/whatever they'll be called will play in Stub Hub arena. Holds like 20,000 people. That's not gonna draw dick.

They'll be contracted/relocated again within 10 years.

agreed

I don't understand this

I understand the narrow minded/blinders on quest for new stadiums and new areas to extort for those new stadiums ... but it would seem to me double dipping into the L.A. area is contrary to their ideas and goals

Maybe Jeff Fisher won't have to move very far.
