Best QB's never to win the Super Bowl

interesting list ... don't see how Vinnie Testeverde is on it though

my top 5 QB's to have never won a Super Bowl :

5. Fran Tarkenton - he was always fun to watch. He did get the Vikings to the big game but his Vikings teams were overmatched by their AFC opponents, though their loss to the Steelers was a close game.

4. Steve McNair - definitely a tough s.o.b. and had a magical arm at times. Made it to 1 Super Bowl, which went down to the wire and was one of the more entertaining Super Bowls.

3. Jim Kelly - 4 Super Bowl appearances and only the first one was even close (and they should have beaten the Giants). Kelly had defensive support, but at times it was a mirage, and would vanish for no reason. Those Bills teams were some of the weirdest in that regard.

2. Dan Marino - Marino suffered from having to do it all. He did have a nice supporting cast, but if he couldn't lead his offense to 30+ points per game, there was the real chance they wouldn't win. Went to the Super Bowl as a rookie and thought he'd be back. Just never happened.

1. Dan Fouts - his Charger teams were very explosive and entertaining to watch. If San Diego had even a shred of a defense, Fouts would have 2 rings.

Nice to see Warren Moon and Kenny Anderson on it. Vinny. probably just from a longevity standpoint, maybe?

IMO Danny White and Joe Ferguson were better than McNabb or Testeverde.
