Game scheduled for week one between to teams who share the same bye week later in the season.

Buccaneers now have an extra week to prep for their week 2 opponent, the Bears.

So shitty for those teams. 16 straight weeks of football with no break.

NFLPA is going to savor using this against the league in a couple years.

I live in the Caribbean.

The shitty thing is not having to play football for 16 straight weeks. Or a theoretical bargaining chip given to a lame excuse for a union.

The shitty thing is a hurricane that can destroy entire countries. That's the shitty thing.
So much road and so few places, so much friendliness and so little intimacy, so much flavour and so little taste.

not sure where you are down there, but the pressure is not off - Hurricane Jose is now a Category 4 and seemingly following Irma's path at the moment

best wishes for your safety

Thanks. Grand Cayman, so we've been on the right side of the Greater Antilles (Irma, Jose) and the Yucatán Channel (Katia). But our number will come up; we've still got two months before the season's over.
