Huh. Another little ding.
Unrein played 4th most snaps on the line in 2017, just behind Bullard.
I probably wouldn't match this either, but that's another role to fill.

I don't see a great 3-4 DE in this draft, otherwise I'd bang the gavel for one.
I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

Unrein has been the epitome of a good soldier. He'll be missed, although he's also replaceable.
Phillips, Hand, McIntosh, Brown, Nichols, and Thompson all fit nicely there; and Greene, Holmes, and Speaks all have potential to grow into that role.
I would probably agree with none being great, but I see a number of serviceable ones.Atkins&Rebel wrote:I don't see a great 3-4 DE in this draft, otherwise I'd bang the gavel for one.

I like BJ Hill as a later round projectthunderspirit wrote:Unrein has been the epitome of a good soldier. He'll be missed, although he's also replaceable.

A lot of these guys are a tad smaller than I like for a 3-4 DE. Also, I don't believe that any of these guys warrant a high 2nd round pick compared to the other guys that should be available, and without a third rounder, most of these guys won't be available to us unless one slips through to the 4th round. (unless Pace works his trade mojo to get more picks)
