Josh Sitton agrees to deal with Dolphins
The Dolphins are saying goodbye to Mike Pouncey and saying hello to Josh Sitton.

Sitton, a guard who played the last two years with the Bears and played with the Packers before that, has agreed to a two-year contract with the Dolphins.

The 31-year-old Sitton went to Miami last night and got a deal done this morning. Although the Bears decided to move on, Sitton has said that he still thinks he’s in his prime.

I agree docc ... I was disappointed he was let go considering the health issues on the rest of the o-line ... thought of him as a solid piece of the puzzle

I wish him well in Miami

Wth did Pace release Sitton? He should have waited until he had a replacement. We have no idea how healthy Long is going to be and it's stupid to have to rely on Morgan/Kush/Grasu to play at a high level.

Because it’s the right thing to do if that player isn’t in your long term plans. You release him early so he can find a new team rather than say, after the draft when all the spots are full.

Or you just keep him.
