Time to re-work my mock draft...again. I had Jackson and Awuzie falling into the 2nd.
The complete list of prospects attending the draft:

S Jamal Adams, LSU
DL Jonathan Allen, Alabama
DB Chidobe Awuzie, Colorado
DE Derek Barnett, Tennessee
OT Garett Bolles, Utah
CB Gareon Conley, Ohio State
WR Corey Davis, Western Michigan
RB Leonard Fournette, LSU
CB Adoree' Jackson, USC
CB Kevin King, Washington
QB DeShone Kizer, Notre Dame
CB Marshon Lattimore, Ohio State
DL Malik McDowell, Michigan State
DE Takkarist McKinley, UCLA
OT Ryan Ramczyk, Wisconsin
LB Haason Reddick, Temple
OT Cam Robinson, Alabama
WR John Ross, Washington
DE Solomon Thomas, Stanford
QB Mitchell Trubisky, North Carolina
QB Deshaun Watson, Clemson
CB Tre'Davious White, LSU

Here are the coaches that will be in attendance:
Larry Fedora, North Carolina
P.J. Fleck, Minnesota
Butch Jones, Tennessee
Brian Kelly, Notre Dame
Urban Meyer, Ohio State
Jim Mora, UCLA
Ed Orgeron, LSU
Chris Petersen, Washington
Matt Rhule, Baylor
Nick Saban, Alabama
David Shaw, Stanford
Dabo Swinney, Clemson
Kyle Whittingham, Utah
Don't know what the coaches being there signifies. Can't recall college coaches being worked into the program to a large extent.
I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

Awuzie isn't a huge surprise based on his testing and his tape. Jackson kinda is, though. He ran well, but that size is concerning, and his tape isn't nearly as good as, say, Jason Verrett's was.
KFFL refugee.

They also like the Day 2 "player X is still in the green room".

The networks do; the NFL doesn't

I'm not overly surprised. They are in my list of 47-50 players that could go in the 1st.

Just my personal mock had them both sliding to the 2nd. I'm just waiting to see if any trades look a little more viable and any juicy rumors come out of these later individual meetings, before posting it.

ohh, i doubt that's true. you give the announcers, who have to fill an ungodly amount of air time something extra to talk about. and you get to create narratives about chips on shoulders, which the nfl thrives on. why exactly wouldnt the nfl like that?

greg gabriel kind of annoys me, but he does have all 4 qb's going in the top 12. in this order watson(bears)/mahomes/trubisky/kizer

Not to say that Mahomes wouldn't go in the first...he could have declined an invite like Garrett did, or no team told the league that they were specifically targeting him.

I think you're confused as to who is "the networks" and who is "the NFL" in my statement. The people talking about the draft on TV is not the same as the people who meticulously plan the event and want to see it go on without a hitch.

Mahomes declined the invite to be at home with family and friends.
