Coward is a great signing. Linval Joseph upside. But David Jones and Lorenzo Jerome really should be here.

I like the Gentry signing. When watching the Allen highlights when he might be our pick the kid was making plays all over the place.

I don't believe the Bears have made these official yet, but if they do, they're 4 over the roster limit and some heads will have to roll.UOK wrote:UDFAs:

Langford and Miller are pretty easy choices.Middleguard wrote:I don't believe the Bears have made these official yet, but if they do, they're 4 over the roster limit and some heads will have to roll.UOK wrote:UDFAs:

Hate to see Miller go, but he's been prepping himself for it since the season ended. Royal though...is also gone.MoFugger wrote:Langford and Miller are pretty easy choices.Middleguard wrote:I don't believe the Bears have made these official yet, but if they do, they're 4 over the roster limit and some heads will have to roll.UOK wrote:UDFAs:

Royal, gotta hope. He just hasn't had it here. Liked him in Denver. Thought he was a sop to Cutler when Marshall was axed. Need guys who can return punts tho. Who are they?

Leblanc, if he makes the team

Is Lamar Houston going to stay on the team? They haven't really tried to replace him and I find that shocking...

Unless there is some surprise cut from another team I think he's on this team this year. Though I do think it's his lastcrueltyabc wrote:Is Lamar Houston going to stay on the team? They haven't really tried to replace him and I find that shocking...

I thought they might go for one - but only because it was such a great draft class.
McPhee is slightly more breaky and slightly less good and Acho is just veteran filler

Skinny and (thus) injury-prone. But the same height as Meredith and White, so a reasonable substitute for Trubisky to aim at in preseason.

I like Rashaad Coward. He had really good tape vs. NC State this year. He plays over the Center, but he could really blossom playing End. Long arms, strong. I could see him pushing into the rotation this year.

Royal I heard they have to wait till he is healthy to cut him, not 100% sure though.

Dude is gonna be like 28 when the season starts. Still, he's going to be good for a long time. Hopefully he sticks over Barf.UOK wrote:Camp kicker Andy Phillips looking good.

So Alex Scearce LB Coastal Carolina
6'3" 235lb really good pro day numbers as seen below.
There is little to watch of him. I have found like 6 clips with him. If this kid can play a little bit he might make the team. The Bears need an ILN who can cover and pay SP Teams. He is plenty athletic for both those tasks.

I'd love to have this dude beef up a little on the practice squad. I think he started out as a defensive back...I don't think he's quite 235.

That was his listed pro day weight, but he could have had some quarters in his pocket. He looks fairly narrow from the shoulders and hips. I think 245 is probably the most he could effectively weigh. Unless he has a ton of Mexican supplements.
