Rumblings that it might be suicide.Otis Day wrote:I wasn't/am not a huge fan of the grunge scene/music, but did enjoy Cornell. I got to see Soundgarden and Skid Row in '91. Soundgarden blew the place up. Had backstage passes as well and it wasn't the free for all I had hoped it would be.
Enjoyed the Temple Of The Dog stuff.
Do we have a cause of death yet? I am hearing a lot of peeps assuming it was drug related (rock star, death = drugs, historically).

There is nothing in this world that could happen to me that would lead me to taking my own life. I believe it is the coward's way out. You leave the living in so much pain and they are left to wonder what they didn't see or do.
Had a buddy do it and I still think about him and why, its been about 20 yrs.
Feel bad for his wife and family.

My nephew hung himself in his garage this past October. He was a troubled young man.

I've had 5 or 6 dear friends now lose their lives, but none of them have been via suicide. Still, fucking sucks regardless. It's like a chunk of your youth/life goes with them.
