In the Smokys last week and did some rafting. Go to the 2 minute mark of the vid (or a few seconds prior) to see the family and I wipeout. Hell, we didn't know until 2 days later that the guide bit it as well. At least he didn't leave the boat. he told us if a guide falls out of the boat, that guide buys beers for all the other guides in the company. I will admit, it was a little freaky getting whipped down the river and seeing your daughter in a panic.

It is the rapid named Lost Guide, appropriately.

I think he owes he colleagues a round of beers! I'm pretty sure most of his body was not in the boat at one point ha!

that looks like it was fun ... it's been a while since I have done any rafting myself, but I now feel compelled to make it part of this summer's activities
