Why couldn't Rexy have blown out his stupid knee in '06?
I still think we'd have hoisted a 2nd Lombard trophy with Griese at the helm.
Could Brian Griese have been our Nick Foles in 2006?

Not every random thought has to be it’s own thread.
Also... huh?

Agreed. Please don't clutter, I try to find a relevant thread if I have a thought/news to post.wab wrote:Not every random thought has to be it’s own thread.

Griese was fine, I guess? He had one comeback win that season and was definitely more 'stable' than Grossman, but that team was backsliding down from a huge SB loss.
Not to mention it was 12 YEARS AGO so maybe we should focus less on how Angelo/Lovie let the team down and more about the future of this team.

This is an A+ thread?
I need to go consult my sarcasm chart to figure out what is going on here.

I remember Brian Griese but don't recall us winning many games when he was our QB
A better question is could Superman have been our Tom Brady in 1997 instead of Rick Mirer?

No, no that's a good question that needs to be answered. My question is could Bull Halsey have been our LaGarrette Blount instead of Cap Boso....ah fuck, I thought I had something there.ramentaschen wrote: A better question is could Superman have been our Tom Brady in 1997 instead of Rick Mirer?
I withdraw the question, your honor.

Snoopy could have been our Superman instead of Rick Mirer

06 was lost when Tommie Harris went down in December vs Minnesota. If he doesn't tear his hamstring, I think we win with Rex. The D was not the same after that. Still very good, but far from the dominance displayed prior.
