I honestly just disregard it now anytime it pops up in a thread.

Get a kid and throw him into the fire.

What does Romo's age vs Cutler's have to do with anything? It's not like the bears are moving on from Cutler because of his age. I would also disagree he will be more expensive. He's made plenty of money and wants to prove he can still play. I can see him signing a very cap friendly contract. How many 35 plus year old QB's just had a good season?, 5ish? I'm not saying he's the future but he could be a good bridge until a QB like Kaaya is ready.

Now you have a point with the 12 passes in two years.....

I agree. Kayaa does get flustered when pressured. He still has a high up side and would do well in Loggains system. I wouldn't be mad if Kaaya or Mahomes were selected in the 3rd.

Don't need to, watched all his games. He was actually really good under pressure in 2015. He lost all trust in his offensive line in 2016.

As long as it's football advice and not parenting advice, sure.

I would prefer that kid to be someone besides Brad Kaaya, though.

What you don't see in the picture is 2 dlinemen about to light him up. Yet he stands tall in the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield. Damn impressive

You realize how skittish he is in the pocket, right? I'm talking he found a way to incorporate "tuck and cover" into his throwing motion when he feels pressure/is about to get hit.

Well, he's going to be a Bear in late April, so better just get used to it.
I have circled back to this as a potential reality. Pace wants his Drew Brees, and our system values a QB that can scan the field and get the ball out quickly/on time.

I suppose I'd be okay with him in the third... but our first two picks had better fucking be home runs.

If we draft him, I am going to dub him "Footsteps Falco" until he proves he isn't going to be all happy feet in the pocket...

And again, the people who think that Kaaya can not improve his pocket movement/awareness based off of the 2016 season in which his offensive line completely fell apart, CFB film room did an in depth analysis of his 2015 season and concluded that he was actually ELITE in the pocket.

And also, someone did a report where they compared 2016 Mitch Trubisky to 2015 Brad Kaaya. I can't find the link right now, but it was a pretty equal comparison as they both played in a similar offense at the time. Well, Trubisky is praised for his stats under pressure. He was 2nd in college football with a 68% adjusted completion percentage under pressure. He also boasted a 15.8% sack percentage under pressure, one of the lowest in the league. In the same type of offense in 2015, Kaaya had a 64% adjusted completion percentage under pressure and had a ridiculous 11% sack percentage under pressure.

Conclusion

Kaaya's 2016 problems under pressure are an outlier. Kaaya is worlds better than the flavor of the month guys like Davis Webb and Nathan Peterman.

How does one "win" the combine? Did they simulate a fake pass rush and he didn't automatically start crying and do his patented chuck and duck? Is that what you mean by win?

It's because someone at the end of the video he posted in another thread said Brad Kaaya at the end of the video, so of course Kaaya had best day, even though most rumors had Watson blowing up the combine with his throws. But hey at least this has sorta quelled the "Kizer is greatest QB to ever enter this draft" talk because his deep throws forced all the WRs to slow down.

I did think that Kayaa looked pretty good. I had it Watson, Trubisky, Kayaa but I didn't see hardly anything of Mahomes.

EDIT: And since the knock on Kayaa is dealing with pressure I'd take his performance with an even bigger pinch of salt.
