I dream every night of MHJ in a Bears uniform.

Caleb and MHJ can break Peyton and MHs records.

I think it's a wonderful idea. I'd give up even more than the 2nd next year to get MHJ.

It's no more than one guys take on it but it's not an impossible situation to pull off. If Poles wants it to happen and SD is willing to trade for a 2025 pick or picks it's not like it could never happen. I would wonder why SD needing to replace it's two best WR would want to make that trade to begin with rather than draft MHJr themselves.

In the past some players who did not want to be drafted by certain teams have found it possible to get their way even if it means making a trade after the picks have been made. SD has already don't it with Eli Manning and Philip Rivers. So who knows. I'm not gonna fantasize about it. If it happens it happens or maybe we take Odunze and that's just as good.

Oh no need to worry. I fantasize about it enough for everyone.

Last night I dreamed of Caleb and MHJs joint HoF induction ceremony. It was glorious

Man you'd have to be absolutely in love with him and consider him to be a tier or two above Nabers and Odunze.

That being said, if you want to move up to 5 you're likely looking at giving up next year's Carolina 2nd and maybe a 3rd or 4th this year.

Pretty steep -- but if you think he's a HOF material pull the trigger and pair him with your, God-willing, franchise QB.

Probably both 3rd and 4th as well as that 2025 2nd to move to 5. Will depend on if 4 QBs go in the top 4 picks, how much Minny wants tomove up. Cards supposedly want 3 1st for their #4 pick, the Chargers may want a bigger package than what the Bears are prepared to offer.
Where are my old Chicago Bears and what have you done with them, Ryan Poles?

Moving up to #5 is going to cost next year's #1 and #3, and maybe another pick.

I wouldn't be thrilled with moving up, even for MHJ.

Since next years #1 is basically a 2nd with it being #32, id do it in a heartbeat.

Id be beyond shocked if Poles did it despite how happy I would be.

Would MHJ smoking a joint before the draft in a pic still drop him? That may be my best hope at the dream coming true

Even if it were true, without giving up next years first, I don't think the Bears have the juice to pull it off.

Are you guys sure you aren't over estimating the cost? The delta between #5 and #9 is just 350 points. The current value of a top 5 2nd round pick ranges from 530-580 points. Even with reducing their value by 40% a top five 2nd round pick would be in the ballpark or enough so that maybe a 2024 4th kicker would do it. Given the strength of the top trio of WR I wouldn't give more than that for a specific one. I just don't expect any team ahead of us in need of a WR to pass on him.

I think a LOT of these top ten picks would love to come to Chicago because it isn't a dogshit situation, unlike most teams picking that high. That said, MHJ can tank all he wants, by not doing his medicals or drills he basically left his value as high as possible. Enjoy Arizona.

Let's see, Tunsil smoking dope with a gas mask on dropped him to 13 so maybe a joint would drop him to 9 :-D

Possibly trade to 7 if Nabers and/or Odunzeare still available to keep any poachers at bay. But the Bears may sit tight, take Bowers if they're both gone.

Trading up to Chargers might be too rich, but what about Giants and for Nabors?

Let's add to this - MHJ has had 2 top 30 visits - AZ and the Bears.

Someone posted that online and said it appears he either wants to play with Murray or CW. CW's dad then retweeted that.

I can't imagine how crazy the discord will be if QBs go 1-3 and then the Commish comes on and Says AZ has trade the 4th pick to the Vikings.
