I hope 27 of those go to BUSH!G08 wrote:If we don't run the ball AT LEAST 38 times, there should be an investigation.

Jay can't catch his own throws....Otis Day wrote:We talk about better OL, WRs that are marginal, but no mention of Cutler making our WRs better. I know it is a chicken and egg conversation, but qbs can make their WRs better. Most qbs can do it but I haven't seen that out of Cutler. Look at Cobb in GB. He was seen as a returner. He is getting a chance this year and the kid is producing. His #s are up there with Nelson's (probably due to him missing a couple of games). All those GB WRs produce and they are not all world.
I think and hope with a better OL this may soon happen. Cutler will have more time and he can get others the ball. the catch will have to be made of course. We can just quit chucking it to Davis.
I stand alone.

Virtually every facet of the Bears has been terrible tonight. Podlesh with a 33 yard punt, defense yielding two long scoring drives to a nobody QB, safeties getting outrun and linebackers getting blown up. Campbell looks as we thought he would: hesitant, uncertain, and clingy to the rock.
We're only down 10-0, but 3 was pretty much all the 49ers may need.

Well Bears, it was a fun start, but you are shitty. I'm going to hang up the jersey and watch as teams like the Packers, Broncos, Texans and 49ers play actual football the remainder of the season. Please clean house and begin anew with non-mercurial players and a coaching staff that knows how to gameplan.

At this point I'd prefer it to be. This kind of loss should be a signal to echo across the franchise that this supposed Championship Contender is a flimsy house of cards.Xee wrote:I think this will be a shutout.

Seconded. He's a bust. I was willing to give him a half-season benefit of the doubt, but he's broken.SixFifteen wrote:Im done with carimi. Hes shown nothing since being drafted.

This just in. Everyone but Lance Louis sucks. And the Bears are not a Super Bowl team. They are a 9-7 "meh" bunch. Oh...and those who said this is a game built for Jason Campbell...eat shit.

Louis is solid. He's the only thing worth a shit on this offensive line at the moment.

BTW, I really don't want to hear anything about perspective or optimism right now. The Bears came into this game starting a $3.5 mil backup QB, an offense (besides Cutler) that was almost totally healthy, and a defense that has been a force throughout the league.
They got taken to the woodshed and beaten so thoroughly that it's not a simple loss like the Texans where we can pick up the pieces and come back next week against the Vikings - this was a reality check.
This team, quite frankly, is a few notches above mediocre, nothing more. The Bears beat up on softies and when it came down to a primetime game against a conference power, the proof is in the scoreboard. Beaten mercilessly in every single aspect, with nothing to show for it but an overpaid backup who is a total squarepeg in this offense, ANOTHER injury to Alshon Jeffery, and crushed pride throughout the organization.
The arrow isn't pointing up. The room for recovery is slim. We're going to spend the next month enduring this Bears team starting completely from scratch to salvage a Win Now season as other organizations prove their mettle and galvanize a hot streak into the postseason.
There is very much a good reason to be afraid if you're a Bears fan right now. To write this game off as a freak accident is a huge underestimation.

I have always thought, until we can beat the Pack it was not even our division. At the moment they may be a few notches over mediocre but they may not end there at the end of the season.
