John Fox First Pick History

Not that it means much, but I thought it would be interesting to look at the first pick made for each year Fox was a HC.

There were a couple years where he didn't have a 1st…but it looks like Fox favors defenders early - particularly LB/DE types.

Again…doesn't mean much, but if he stays true to history it'll be a LB (Gregory?) or DE (Williams?).

I'd be happy with Gregory, reminds me a bit of Aldon Smith (I just hope he reaches his ceiling). Question is if he will be there.

Fowler I think would be a terrific pick as well, but again, will he be there?

After that... it gets muddied in my mind. I don't like Ray as much as some, I'm an obvious Beasley homer but he comes with question marks (don't really want that at 7), and I'm not crazy about Dupree.


So many options this year, it's difficult to really hone in on certain prospects like I could do in years past.
