Bears cornerback Terrance Mitchell, a preseason star who hasn’t had a similar impact during the regular season, was waived Tuesday. The Bears promoted cornerback Jacoby Glenn from the practice squad to take his place.
Mitchell could return to the Bears as a practice squad player.
Mitchell hadn’t appeared in a game since Week 5. He was inactive against the Lions and Vikings, and did not play against the Chargers and Rams.

Standard bottom of the roster churn. Rotate guys in and out of the practice squad to see what they can do.

Mitchell's problem is health. He's been hurt off and on since the second game of the preseason.

I liked what I saw in PS. Hopefully he stays around until next year, I think he is guy the coaching staff can turn into a solid player or at worse a solid back up/ST guy.
