  • MATCHUP HISTORY: Believe it or not, the Bears actually STILL lead the all-time series vs. the Packers 93-92-6. Brett Favre will be retiring his number 4 at this game, and it's the first home Thanksgiving Day game for the Packers since 1923.
  • UNIFORM: Bears will wear their normal road uniforms.

No TBU, a soft AJ, a recovering Forte, another L to the Pack. I think Pack still takes a fully healthy Bear team at Lamblow anyway. It is a mind game and the Pack has the game won before either team walks on the field.

The D never pressured Rodgers in first meeting and McPhee is gimpy right now as well.

Just don't see a W. Would not be surprised if it is a blowout.

Butt Farter having his numbered retired at halftime of a Bears-Packers game on a holiday.

Reminds me of Halloween 1994. Bears Packers on Monday Night Football. Gale Sayers and Dick Butkus had their numbers retired at halftime. Packers ruined the night as Farter threw for a touchdown and scrambled like 40 yards for another run, absolutely drubbing the Bears 33-6.

Time to return the favor.

I just Google image searched the 1994 Chicago Bears. Three of the first images to come up.

In the 1st game of the year the Bears shocked the pukers by going into halftime with the lead. The Pukes won that game because the Bears didn't yet have their full identity. The Bears have some what over come the injury bug and have been living by the "next man up" theory. The Bears come into each game with a very good game plan and each week have been building on the previous showing. Not to many people gave them a shot at beating the Broncos but their they were again, down by a TD and a 2 pt conversion to win the game against a playoff caliber team. Yes, they came up 2 pts short but they were in the game the entire time. Even with poor red zone numbers they had opportunities to win the game. I'm rambling all of this because we the fans have almost given up hope of beating the Pukes. I feel that this current team has the heart and is well coached and is very competive. They're 1 explosive play away each game from winning consistently. This team can and will beat the freakin pukes. I'm going to sit back drink some nog, eat some turkey and enjoy watching our defense wipe that shit eating grin off Rodgers face!

On this thanksgiving I'm thankful for a lot but as a fan I'm thankful for the Bears finally putting together a competent coaching staff giving us fans hope that our beloved bears can be competitive again. Happy thanksgiving to all!

First things first happy thanksgiving to all my american bear brothers! Have a great one!

I'm unsure how to feel about this damn match.

Sure you have Aj, forte returning but you are losing Marty which if I'm honest doesn't faze me the same way it would have last week.

The biggest key for me is their starting centre is down, if we can create the pressure up the middle like we did against denver lets get Rodgers scrambling.

I have a feeling young and houston come up big if given the chances to tonight. What bigger game apart from RB Super Bowl could there be to remind everyone your still a player and not JAG then thanksgiving evening.

Bears lose by three but it's another arrow up and Rodgers is once again put on notice

Ha ha! Glad I'm not the only one that planned meal time around the game. We usually go to a seafood buffet but I sacrificed 6hrs of turkey cooking just to watch the game :D

Happy Thanksgiving, guys! I'm just glad I'll be sleeping through the game. Sick of losing to the Packers over the last 2 decades, first Favre and now Rodgers. And now Favre is back for 1 night only. I have a feeling of foreboding...
But hey, BEAR DOWN anyway!!!

So ticky tack call on int then miss blatant hold on td reception. Think I've seen enough already

Kind of disappointing to give them that field goal at the end of the half, but I'll take leading at the half and receiving the ball to start the 3rd. Considering how anemic the offense looked to start, things look pretty good right now.

Yes, the field goal was a gift - in several ways - poor clock management on our scoring drive followed by a shallow kickoff.

Excuse me while I take an extra-long **** during the halftime BS.

These refs can fuck the fuck off. Disgraceful calls. They deserve a kicking.

Pray for Rodgers to be injured for the rest of this game at least!
It's never nice but we could do with a break like that

Does Forte look slow to anyone else? Thinking he is not 100% and could see Langford hitting the holes quicker and harder.

Fuck yeah! Feels great to beat them, especially on Favre night. Defense really has been impressive the past few weeks.

Conservative offensive calls in the fourth really made me feel on edge about giving the Packers the ball with time to win. That's exactly what happened, but the defense came through when it mattered most.
