Now this is good work. Not only do Bears fans travel well, they help support local businesses.

Re: The Peanut "Punch" may be on a limited basis
Then how exactly are you supposed to try and strip the ball? Or if a receiver has the ball out, how do you knock it from his grasp? This is right underneath that rule, pretty much contradicts the rule. Note: If there is any question as to whether a defender is stripping or batting a ball in player p...

Re: 11/11: 7-1 Bears vs. 7-1 Texans
Their D-line scares the hell out of me. Tice better not try chucking it deep the first two series, like we have the last several games, or Cutler won't survive the first quarter.

Re: 11/11: 7-1 Bears vs. 7-1 Texans
It's all about not falling for the play action pass. Our front 7 are good enough to contain Foster, but we can't have our safeties biting on the PA pass. That is where Houston does its damage in the passing game. I'm more concerned with our offensive line trying to compete with Watts and the rest of...

Re: Bears Blurbs // 11-2
As I sit here and read this, I think back and it blows my mind how long I have been watching Urlacher play. It is going to be a big loss when his time comes. A good friend of mine is a Ravens fan, and when Lewis went down he was very depressed. I have enjoyed watching Brian play, leading this D, and...

Re: Bears Blurbs // 11-1
We need to get Bennett involved more. He is excellent across the middle, running some crossing routes. You can rely on him to catch pretty much anything thrown his direction. i don't want to complain too much about how often Cutler throws to Marshall because its working, but we need to get some othe...

Re: Drops
Every time I find myself bitching about a drop, its usually Davis. Had that one the other night literally hit him in the gut and fell to the ground. He made up for it with the TD catch, but that was after another drop down the seam that would have been a huge play.

Is it such a terrible thing to reduce his overall touches anyways? Keep some stress off of him and keep some wear and tear off his body. He is still producing and this could end up keeping him healthy for the rest of the year.

Re: Bears Blurbs // 10-29
We beat Jacksonville 41-3 in Jacksonville on a short week, the Packers squeezed by. Granted without Nelson and Jennings but they still shouldn't have struggled that much. It happens, the Patriots lost at home to the Cardinals. Guess what? No one even remembers that game now. Win the games you are su...

Re: Bears Blurbs // 10-29
He is an amazing receiver. I'd love to have him on the Bears just so we wouldn't have to face him, he kills us every time. Man though it gets old listening to him talk. Gives no respect therefore doesn't deserve much respect.

Re: Cutler: "These fucking fans, I swear to God."
Lets all be thankful that Jay didn't "disrespect" anyone on that offensive line. I know they were playing really bad, but we don't want to hurt their feelings. I hope Tice ripped their rear ends. They played like crap. Even in the run game in the second half they were struggling. If I was ...

Re: First time going to Soldier Field
I am planning on a trip next September for the mrs and I's 10th anniversary. Plan on following these tips as we are going to be in town for several days. Now the game I really really would like to go to would be say a certain Thursday night game, always the first game of the season, which has the de...

Re: Defense emulates coordinator Marinelli
He has been a fantastic addition to the coaching staff. You can really tell how the D-line has flourished under him. Even Peppers. I had questions when we signed him to that huge contract but he has lived up to it and I think Marinelli has played a big role in getting the most out of Peppers.

Have to say, something you never hear from the media is Cutlers record since coming to Chicago. 9-1 over his past ten is incredible. And if not for that thumb injury last year who knows. The key though, we have to beat the Packers. He has to find a way to no let them get to him.

Re: TUES BEAR NEWS/TWEETS- jeffery,briggs,webb,anderson,cutl
Nice to have Bennett coming back with Jeffery going down. Tough to lose him though, he has been a big part of this offense. Not going into panic mode though, I think we will be ok. Very important three game stretch after the break. We need to win all three of those and get to 7-1 before we head into...

Re: Defense drives the Bears- is "D" elite?
I thought Urlacher still looks a bit slow out there, although the announcer mentioning him not being able to track Murray down was a joke. Not too many people catching that back with a full head of steam. Briggs and Peppers said it best though, with Brian out there he makes the calls and makes sure ...

While it did look bad when Cutler blew off Tice, how come we don't mention him going up to Webb towards the end of the game and telling him that he did a good job? As Jay said, got to sell papers. Webb deserved getting yelled at against Green Bay, and deserved some praise last night which is what Cu...

The rotation of D-linemen should really benefit us later in the season. Keep guys fresh, keep guys helathy. The secondary is playing awesome thanks to the good pressure up front.

Hearing the "Lets Go Bears" chant in Cowboy stadium was absolutely awesome. And it was loud, they took the shot of Urlacher just saying, wow. Big win, now close out before the bye with a win against Jacksonville.

Forte
Jay Glazer reporting Forte will be a go tonight. Got to figure Bush will still get more carries then usual, but this certainly is a good thing. Like to get Forte more involved in the passing game, Bush did a great job with screens last week, Forte would do the same.

Re: Bears Offense vs Cowboys Offense
The Chiefs looked good against that Saints D. I tow the middle ground in this arguement. Offensive geniuses, maybe not., but pretty dang good. Our offense is still finding its way, its balance. I truly think we are going to round into form starting tonight. This is a critical game for us, to finish ...

Re: Bears Offense vs Cowboys Offense
Like I said earlier, if Tice can call some quick safe passes tonight, get Cutler in a rhythm, run the ball this offense will be fine. I think we have just tried too hard to force the ball down the field. A smart game plan tonight equals a win.

Re: Bears Offense vs Cowboys Offense
That is one thing Rodgers does very well, is the pre snap read. Cutler also needs to get rid of the ball quicker. Hopefully we run some shorter routes tonight. I think we have been trying to force the ball downfield to early to fast. Let Cutler hit some intermediate routes, get in a rhythm, then tur...

Bears Offense vs Cowboys Offense
We are all aware of the struggles of our offense, but I had no idea that the Cowboys were the lowest scoring team in the NFL. I did half pay attention to the cowboys game last week while at a bar watching the Bears, every time I looked over, Romo was being destroyed. If the trends continue, neither ...

I think it is Lovie being Lovie. He is always very vague when it comes to injuries. My opinion is, if he is already practicing on a limited basis on Wednesday then he looks pretty good to play come Monday.

Sounding more and more positive for Forte, think we are really going to need him. If we can hit some quick screens and quick passes to neutralize ware and that pass rush we should have every chance to win. This D is playing great and you know they would love to put on a show in prime time.

If we can sneak out a win against the cowboys, which certainly is doable, the schedule sets up well heading into our bye week.
