Re: Game Balls and Horns Wk 1 vs TEN
This is where Sweetness can save us both with the game tape:) I really didnt focus on him - so I plan to now I did notice at least two pressures from him - but maybe thats all he had ? And they are just kind of what stood out? Quite possible https://x.com/ChicagoBears/status/1832857586640531834 htt...

Game balls Special teams minus VJJ. Carter looks really good. Crocodile punter played great. Carlos hit his kicks. Walker. He really played well in the 2nd half and I feel made the line start making progress. While inside he got push. Outside played well. I don't know if he played inside in the 1st...

Bears 27
Titans 13
I think the Bears defense plays really well and puts the offense in easy positions

Re: Looking for help to rush the QB
A good day for Booker, credited with 2.5 sacks against the Bills: https://x.com/ChicagoBears/status/1822336586249302347 https://x.com/ChicagoBears/status/1822359895330500743 It would be huge is Booker worked out as a Marrk Anderson type situational pass rusher. It's exactly what this team needs.

Re: Matthew Judon
Booker didn't start in college. He was also a 3rd day pick. The likelihood he starts in the NFL is pretty low. Most people including myself see his ceiling as a situational pass rusher. Even that likelihood is low. Actually, many saw him as a year one situational rusher with a very high ceiling. ht...

1) I strongly disagree about our “championship window”. It could be this year, it’s definitely next year. We are not multiple years away. 2). Even if you disagree with that, his contract would be off the books by time 2026 came around anyways so who cares? I kinda stated that. He's coming in as sto...

Re: Some NFL owners discussed a CAP for QB's
It's an interesting concept. I doubt it will happen. Until a team proves you can devalue the QB position the marker will always be in favor of the QB.
I personally think there are ways to devalue the QB position. It just hasn't been proven.

There has to be some sort of filter on this thread. My wife walked past as I was scrolling through it. I'm pretty sure she's pregnant now. I heard Mrs TMP bought a pregnancy test kit. Not for her, but for her husband. TMP is pregnant? Congrats. It's 2024 so that makes more sense then one would wish.

I think regarding QBs all the time. I would think they would take less to have more weapons around the,, but no QB ever does (not counting Brady). $45 mil? Wouldn't $30, $25 mil a year be enough? Re: Stroud criticizing Rodgers
Pretty sure Adams has said the Packers offered more money than the Raiders, he just wanted to play in LV with Carr. Rodgers has earned a lot of money over the years and definitely could have helped himself out by taking less, but it seems to me like the Packers' philosophy of just never bringing in...
