Re: Build the Lines

What a weird rant

I mean, yeah, we're keeping score – that's how you evaluate how someone has done their job.

Yeah, i'm not talking about keeping score on Poles, it's the posters who are begging people to distill this down to Poles: bad.

This whole dumb thread is basically this:

Seriously, man, how many times do people have to say he hasn't before you hear it?

I have. @wab has. @HisRoyalSweetness has. Hell, I think @RustyTrombagent has and he rarely posts anything serious.

It hasn't been good enough. That doesn't necessarily correlate to "drafting KA last year in ...

Re: Build the Lines

I dont get the outrage over KA last year. If he was healthy and played a bit better, the season would have been a bust regardless. Bad coaches make good players look bad, period.

To me, in what we can confidently say was always destined to be a lost season, it ended up being the right time ...

Re: Build the Lines

KA was taken a year or 2 early. We all assumed, and I imagine the Bears did also, that they were going to be more competitive than they were in '24. They misjudged his medical history and availability to be ready for the season. I'm as guilty as anyone, I thought the team would be better and he'd ...

Re: Jets Dumpster Fire

The best thing about this recent turn of events is that the jets told Aaron the'd work with him if he didnt do a podcast during the season, and that he also had to attend all mandatory practices/meetings, and well, that wasnt gonna happen. Much more important to go on the Pat McAfee show to accuse ...

A little bit of Cam Newton Drama

This started with Steve Smith, one of the biggest shit talkers out there, taking offense at Cam saying when he was drafted it was a "locker room full of losers."

Newton stirred Steve up with recent comments on Travis Hunter’s podcast. Reflecting on the reality that the first pick in the draft goes ...

The most probable thing is, given that Virginia was 102, there was a plan in place years ago and the Halas family retains control as she most likely intended. Giving one of her sons the reigns most likely and shares. There is the one time $ if they do sell, but it’s a forever money making machine ...

If jeanty is there at 10, someone is going to offer extra picks which can be spent on O-line. A later round RB or two will suffice this year.

He's got some drama queen in him for sure, but he's young and played under some ridiculous circumstances his first year. As he matures and his situation improves I don't think we'll be seeing much of this anymore.

Eh, it's a bottom-line business, and if someone wants to go all in on "fire Poles" then let 'em.

I don't really agree with that sentiment, but then I don't have to agree to acknowledge that the offensive line hasn't been good enough.
