Re: Your Overall Draft Impression?

Overall....pumped. Pace and co. nailed the first 3 picks. Pace has proven time and again that he and his staff have talent evaluating mid round picks so even though I didn't hear of a couple of them, I'm hoping history continues to repeat itself. As for the upcoming season, I'm hesitant to become co...

worth the risk in the 6th. Tell that to all these buffoons on twitter and around the Bears intertronz who are furious that Pace isn't drafting obvious 16-game starters/Pro Bowlers in rounds 6 and 7. You'd think he'd cut the throats of their children when he took Iggy in the 4th. Wait until he misse...

Fitts easily outplays his draft position if he stays healthy. Big if, but worth the risk in the 6th.

NFL.com compares him to Darius Leonard, who I like a lot. Darius was drafted in the 2nd. This could be another small school gem!

Re: 2018 NFL Draft Prospects

I'm starting to think we would be stupid not to draft one of Ward, Fitzpatrick, or James at #8. You care to share your reasons why? Just the overall talent of the player. Ward is ridiculously sticky as a corner, has outstanding feet, and he's a lot tougher than I expected out of someone his size. I...

Re: Bears' Mitchell Trubisky: I was built for this offense

I get the sense that Trubisky isn't fluffling this. Considering that pretty much all the offensive FAs that signed with us mentioned Nagy and this offense as a legitimate reason for joining this team. If you believed them, why wouldn't you believe Mitch?

Re: 3 Draft Scenarios... Pick Your Favorite

I'll go out on a limb and say we do not draft a WR with our first 3 picks. Looking at the clouds of talent as they're stacked in my head, I think the first round will be an EDGE rusher (unless someone like Barkley/Nelson is there) and the second round will be an interior lineman. At pick #39 I'm of...

Re: EDGE rusher talk

There's a million different ways they can go in this draft, nobody really knows. I'm starting to think if Nelson and Fitzpatrick are gone by the time 8 comes around, we might be looking for a trade down (assuming one of the top 4 QBs is still on the board). Suspenseful but also annoying because I w...

Re: Who WILL the Bears Draft First?

If.... Chubb is available, Pace drafts him above all. If Chubb is gone, and Nelson is available, Pace drafts him above all else. If neither options are available at 8, Pace trades down. I could very well see that as the scenario. If Edmunds, Davenport, and Landry are there and Pace is hell-bent on ...

But man is he big. How tall is he? 6-5? Does that mean we should also start him at shooting guard for the Bulls? I know he's shown zero ability to hit a jumper...or dribble, but we're drafting him as an edge rusher so why stop there? Hmmmm. interesting thought exercise. But I agree. The fact that h...
