That...is a heckuva draft. I don't quibble with a single player on it.

Guess I'm looking at PFF tonight.

Re: General Manager/Head Coach Interview Discussion

Last time they hired a GM, they interviewed five guys and hired Ryan Pace.

Time before that, they interviewed four guys and hired Phil Emery.

Getting a broad array of candidates is different than what they've done previously. No guarantee it will work any better, of course.

Re: General Manager/Head Coach Interview Discussion

I also think that the Bears are getting an idea of who the GM candidates like, and if they've already talked to one that can allow the selected GM to move on their chosen candidate quickly. And on the flip side, if a GM prospect's list of candidate didn't impress, it gives more information on that G...

Maybe.

I like Mason Cole or Brian Allen, but not keen on the UFA cost..

I'm interested in a vet if someone gets cut and doesn't risk future comp picks, though.

He'll go Day 2 based on athleticism alone. He's my #2 C.

I like him a lot, and I don't find his size marginal at all.

Re: General Manager/Head Coach Interview Discussion

Actually, the gm interviews appear very specific and targeted - like the list has been compiled over a long period of time - long before pace and Nagy. Polian clearly has a plan here - whether it works or not is another story. The coaching candidates appear to be the equivalent of an initial screen...

I saw metallica a few times. Like 99-2001 ish. I'm strange in that I don't really care too much for them, which is a sin amongst my Gen X generation. But I don't really like Nirvana either. I was always more of an Alice in Chains/Soundgarden/Pantera guy. I wish I could've seen Metallica live at any...

Is it just me, or are there other people who sort of think that the next generation Oline is mostly on board? At most a Center away? I have hopes that's (partially) true, but it's based on a small sample size for the pieces in question, and presupposes both that 1) the blocks in place are as qualit...

What The Cooler King said. The GM will be the top football person, and is responsible for organizing entire operation on that side, and if their strength is in organization management that's a GOOD thing. Particularly if they also know they need to hire smart people for the part that isn't their str...

I was way too young to see Zep, but I saw Robert Plant solo 3x in the late 80s/early 90s. Thoroughly enjoyed them. Duran Duran and Nine Inch Nails both put on terrific, if obviously very different, shows back in 1993. I've seen a few artists multiple times, but none of the rock legends. I kinda miss...

I dunno, he was a key voice that created the narrative that Mitch was the #1 guy. Some believed it was Mitch, some Watson, some Mahomes. I’d prefer a guy who preferred Watson or Mahomes, it’s a big, big miss that ultimately cost Pace his job, so I’m not inclined to look over it for Riddick. I'm not...
