I expect some Drop Off - maybe even a good amount of Drop Off in the Splash plays.

I don't expect killer mistakes though.

Re: QBR disconnect

The first games bring the rating down massively. If Caleb maintains this good level, he will work his way up the list relatively quickly. Yeah, this aint rocket science. Adjust for the last 2 games and Caleb is 4th in the league: https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/player-stat/qb-rating-nfl?split=last...

Dalton had his little magic a couple of weeks back. The team isn't as bad as it looked with Young, but it's not suddenly respectable either. The D has plenty of holes that could provide our offense its first "complete" game. If this was on the road... maybe I feel differently? I am scarin...

That was fun to watch That said - Playing a team like Carolina heals a lot of wounds. Need to step up when we get to the NFL part of the season I hate it when people say shit like this. Any team can beat any team on any given Sunday. Every single player on the Panthers was an NFL caliber player. Ma...

I went HC (me and Dplank - Ride or Die!) You Can View it via Bill Bellichick. Bellichick the Coach was excellent. Bellichick the GM was quite poor at his Job. Granted its a QB discussion too - it's all over the place (though I think he won double digit games with Matt Cassel too) Really though - th...

I'm glad to see a guy I was super high on actually be productive for this team. I've had way too many Jon Bostics in my time. To his credit, Bostic stuck around the league for 9 years, including 4 solid years as a starter with IND, PIT, and WAS -- just not with us for whatever reason He's a guy who...

To be fair, Fields has had to play with Dante Pettis and Claystool as his main receivers, compared to DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze. There’s a difference in talent Keenan hasn't played a ton so far Did Fields ever get to play with Moore, Kmet and Mooney (who is good)? Asking for a friend -...

Re: FBR: Fields struggling in shorts

It wasn't his best game but he did throw the go ahead TD late in the 4th only to watch his defense give up a sustained 70 yard TD drive to lose the game - sounds familiar to his only 2 losses down the stretch here last year. I always love when the Defense plays pretty darn well - especially in term...

I would say that Waldron has been outstanding for the last six quarters of football. Hoping it isn't an anomaly. The one thing I liked about the hire was that the guy has a track record of success. So I don’t think it’s an anomaly, I think k we are getting better combined with playing a bad team th...

I'm seeing him getting doubled with some frequency, but I think that's mostly offensively the scheme to "we'll double the guy in this spot for this play" rather than Dexter specifically demanding a double team -- I saw one instance of him splitting a double team, so that's nice. Need to s...

This might be of interest. In addition to Williams' highest passer rating of 126.2 against the Panthers he also had really high ESPN QBR of 83.8. Last week against the Rams he had a passer rating of 106.6 but his QBR was only 38.9, which is still his second best of the season. I noticed that today ...

I wonder if it's time to put Jenkins on the shelf until at least after the bye?
