Re: Different trade scenario

IMO playing to the strengths of the draft means getting good players later in the draft than usually would be there. So I favor taking a WR at 75, or many of the various trade down scenarios that have been kicked around and taking one in the 2nd. Watch Poles take a CB and all our heads explode. Yep...

Re: Different trade scenario

It sounds like Ryan Poles understands how important the lines are and some of us here do not. The arguments for taking a WR for the Bears second pick do not hold water. If he doesn't trade down, I foresee a QB, two linemen and then perhaps a WR. I bet you, Bearfacts, that Poles takes two linemen be...

Then I go Jared Verse and Ricky Pearsall, or one of the Texas WRs (who I don't expect to be there at 44).
Very plausible.

Re: Different trade scenario

WR can be gotten later on - As a general concept

Doesn't mean you are absolutely going to get one that is good

This also hasn't been the strength of Poles so far (he has many, many strengths mind you)

I think he goes higher than people think.
Could be the case - though its not like mocks have him late 1st (usually)

He seems pretty plug and play - get yourself a bunch of years of Pro Bowl Guard

Re: Caleb Williams News and Rumor thread

Imo, Justin Fields’ lack of development as a passer made trading back for yet another “haul” unlikely. A struggling 4th year QB with a 5th year option decision looming likely made acquiring a quality oc problematic and set the stage for the kind of QB uncertainty now facing Minnesota and Las Vegas....

I feel like finding an elite 3T is almost as hard as finding an elite QB. There's no Aaron Donald type prospect in this class (at least according to the experts), so chasing that seems foolish to me. There's no Aaron Donald type prospect in any draft that isn't Aaron Donald It's a comp that shouldn...

Interesting that some of you don't like Odunze when all of the scouting reports and coaching intel and opinions call him elite. Of the three top WR it's Nabers who actually graded the highest post Combine probably because of his speed and YAC ability. Then came MHJr and Odunze but there not much to...

Fields would have put up better numbers (maybe markedly better) than Fields did as a Third Year Pro.
