Re: What about 2025???
Any suggestion that Shadeur will only play for certain teams thus alienating others is ridiculously foolhardy. Only a few of the 32 teams will be desperate for a QB next year. 6 teams have just drafted QBs in the top 12 picks. Whilst it's possible one might go the Cardinals route and draft another ...

Re: Post Draft Meatball Overreaction - Three Things
If we want to go full meatball....this team has enough talent to win a super bowl if the stars align. Everything would have to go right, but we have a Top 5 roster IMO. It's really the "newness" of it that will likely hold us back - new OC, rookie QB, many new pieces on offense that need ...

Re: Various Bears avatars for your use
The Story of Bear Down University of Arizona Athletics’ most enduring tradition is the slogan and battle cry, “Bear Down.” More than a casual piece of encouragement, the rally cry has roots over a century old, to the Roaring ‘20s, and pre-dates another venerated exhortation, “Win one for the Gipper...

New #2 TE. again an upgrade easily Everett over the ex Packer ? lol nuff said New RB . This would have been valid for me the prior year when we lost Monty. Not this year tho. We barely used Forman Continue with the new scheme idea. Also keep in mind their former teams didn't mind seeing them go. A ...

What's weird is that while his game-day calls as HC are dubious, his calls as DC are far better than anything we've had since Fangio. Here's hoping that Washington can continue this.o-pus #40 in B major wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:35 pm I think Eberflus's game-day decisions are the most troubling of everything folks have talked about so far.

Re: The 2024 Draft
FWIW IMHO Despite him being a left hander, which I hate in QBs, I thought that Penix was the second best QB in this draft. Now, it may only be because he kicked my Ducks' ass twice, but in those games, he was incredibly impressive. His accuracy was off the charts. He was pretty spectacular against T...

I liked Prince's music but he was pretty much a Dick to work with or near or with others.. HE ASKED to borrow a guitar from the Roots guitarist "Captain" Kirk Douglas. A very collectable 1961 Epiphone Crestwood that was destroyed for Prince's ego.. No reason ever given why he asked for a ...

Re: R4 P122: Tory Taylor, P - Iowa
Do we all still trust Ryan Poles or is this punter pick in the 4th round of a pretty weak back half 2024 draft what puts us over the edge? I look at it like he drafted Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze along with "drafting" Montez Sweat and Keenan Allen. He can take a punter in the 4th. And ...

Re: R4 P122: Tory Taylor, P - Iowa
During a Wednesday interview on the Pat McAfee Show, Poles explained why he selected Taylor at No. 122. “I didn’t expect him to get much further. Definitely didn’t think I’d be able to pick him up when we got into the fifth round,” Poles said. “And, really, the thought process there is to make anyo...

Re: Various Bears avatars for your use
So I went to the University of Central Arkansas for undergraduate (home of Scottie Pippen) and they are the Bears. The big saying they use now is “Bears’ claws up” and people do what CW and Rome are doing. So I freaking love it even more. Can somebody please explain the University of Arizona to me?...

Wow. Kind of a surprise. Wright (Tennessee), Dexter (Florida), Stevenson (Miami FL), Ja'Tyre Carter (Southern), Travis Bell (Kennesaw State (Ga)), and Pickens (South Carolina) were probably all from the SE scouting. Maybe Velus (Tennessee) and Trenton Gill (North Carolina State) doomed him. lol

Re: The 2024 Draft
Jenkins is my favorite current Bear by a large margin. I love isolating his play. But I too think he's on the way out. And I don't even think it's because of injuries. He hasn't had a back problem since he started taking Pilates (hear that DP ;)). We have Braxton's contract coming due in two years ...

Re: What about 2025???
According to the current 2025 big board at the NFL mock database, there are 12 DTs inside the top 53 players (which is nuts!) and 5 EDGE prospects in the top 25. Poles plans ahead. I think this draft pretty much proved that. He will probably take 2 or 3 DLine next draft when we have all those sweet...

I'd hate to see Jenkins go. He's the one high end player the Bears have on the O-line. Maybe Wright will join him at that level but he wasn't close as a rookie. We're all excited right now, and understandably so, about all the talent at the offensive skill positions but the O-line is still a signif...

A bit bummed we didn't get Leonard Taylor III. Does he really have a better chance of making the Giants' roster than ours?
