And like I said, my guy's already got a Helmet. lol Bilbo Baggins, Samwise, Merry, Kindle Vildor? Real...

They have the cap room. It's a good move by them.
I'm fine with this. Save our money. I think we'll find players with real good potential on the cheap with the final cutdowns. Might as well wait for then.

Re: Vildor Shining Early

nah...sounds more like a Lord of the Rings name. Bobo Baggins and Kindle Vildor definitely sound like they came from the same village. Absolutely not! And certainly not a Hobbit name. Hobbit names are cheerful and bouncy, like Bilbo Baggins, Meriadoc Brandybuck, Samwise Gangee, Goldilocks Took, Jol...

Nicely done.

Am I the only one who thinks that Kindle Vildor is a name that should have come from a Star Wars movie?

Wilbur Marshall absolutely deserves to be on that list. Certainly more than Lance Briggs. Nobody would have ever given up two first round draft picks for Briggs.

You need to read more carefully. Notice that I didn't say that "Nagy is a bad coach because he wanted Trubisky to be able to throw from the pocket.” IN FACT, no where have I said that Nagy is a bad coach. PERIOD! I've been defending him. What I did say here was that Nagy's mistake was trying t...

Re: New Look

I love the dark look. But I accidentally hit that button at the top of the screen and turned it white. Hated that, and I had trouble figuring out what I did. Spent a half hour trying to turn it back when I lucked across the button. I'm just dumb I guess.

This is great news IMO. I never understood those that wanted us to cut Hicks, the dude is one of our most important players. Assuming Goldman plays, our DL is set to be the best in the NFL IMO. Nichols/Goldman/Hicks is an absolute MONSTER. With Khalil friggin Mack on the edge? I mean, cmon that's g...

Re: Nagy optimism

I would prefer a ratio closer to 55/45, but that's really not my issue. My pet peeve with Nagy, and remember I really like Nagy, is his penchant not to ride a hot hand. And it's not only that he doesn't ride the hot hand, he takes that hot hand out of the game altogether, so that they can't even eff...

It is possible he opted out for more than just asthma. If he has some immune deficiency or sickle cell gene he may not be able to be vaccinated. If that is the case, he doesn't have irrational fear and could be legitimately at risk. Let's give the guy a break he might just be wanting that extra tim...

https://twitter.com/ChiSportUpdates/status/1404869527872196615 Nagy did NOT say "there is no possible scenario that Justin Fields is the starting quarterback Week 1" ... those are simply not Nagy's words, but someone else's interpretation I guess Daniel Greenberg is trying to get some hit...

Re: Nagy optimism

@Yogi da Bear I completely agree. That’s a huge flaw in Nagy’s thought process. The strength of the team the past three years has been the defense. A running game gives the defense a breather. But a running game doesn’t fit his idea of what an offense is. And to another point of yours, when you’ve ...

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/zQsAAOSwXeJYJJfG/s-l300.jpg Gazing into my Crystal Football, I see Fields starting Week Six at home against Green Bay. That's the same week Dan Marino first started as a rookie. And what a surprise it would be to the Packers. But giving Nagy's penchant for gadgets, I ...

Re: Nagy optimism

I dunno man. Bottom line here is he's gone 28-20 and made the playoffs 2 of 3 seasons (and yes, I degrade that a bit in 2018 b/c of the great D). But he did this with without a functional QB and a bottom barrel OL. I don't think that Bill Walsh could have done anything with what we had. Everyone sa...

Re: Richard Sherman, anyone?

If you have a problem with the QB of your team, by definition, you're a locker room cancer. Is this what you want our young QB to deal with: In the final years of the Legion of Boom, there was a reported fracture between the offense and defense in Seattle. Many of the defensive veterans looked down ...

Re: Nagy optimism

No, but he could have figured what Trubs did well and let him do it. He tried to make him a Pocket Deep Passer, and Trubs simply isn't that. Lazor figured it out with short dump offs and medium range throws. And he was allowed to run more. His sacks went way down in his last four games with us only...

Re: Nagy optimism

I'm not so much concerned with it because I think Fields is more suited to Nagy's system. Also, I was really encouraged that he went back to Daly at Ohio State and found out what Fields like to and was good at and is trying to incorporate those plays in his system. Remember that Mahomes said one of...
