Re: The 2024 Draft
Because Poles is one of 32 holding the position of NFL GM in the world We're Joe Palookas reading whatever we can on the Internet, a lot of which is about ... Poles and his decision making and building of the team. So I tend to believe that he'll get it right more than we will but there will be tim...

Re: R3 P75: Kiran Amegadjie, OT - Yale
Physically he's more an OT than a G. I imagine he'll get his snaps this year at both positions when starters get injured. I think he'll be the starting LT in 2025.

Re: 2024 Draft: Is This Our Greatest Draft Ever?
1983 was pretty darned good... Jimbo Covert Willie Gault Mike Richardson Dave Duerson Tom Thayer Richard Dent Mark Bortz And none of those players also involved paying an exorbitant salary which come along with Sweat and Allen. It was a great draft year for the Bears. This one give me hope to produ...

Re: The 2024 Draft
Yes, yes it does make more sense. Just like some of us told you all off-season. Where you became a condescending dick about it and then got proven wrong. But it's all good. You'll be enjoying the modern Bears and praising the offense before long. Explain why? And, also explain why if Poles makes a ...

Re: R4 Pick 122: P Tory Taylor
Don't think anyone saw that coming. He was the best weapon on Iowa last year. I was a bit disappointed that an Irish guy announced the pick, not HRS or DD.

Re: The 2024 Draft
If you look at this draft in its totality, it’s pretty wild. #1: Caleb Williams #9: Rome Odunze #40: Montez Sweat #75: Kiran Amegadjie #110: Keenan Allen #122: TBD #144: Ryan Bates Can't forget #7 N'Keal Henry but it was an attempt to get a WR from the bargain basement. Laying it out this way might...

Re: The 2024 Draft
Have you seen WR extensions this offseason? Moore's going to want something similar. Allen's making $23M this year; if the Bear sign him to an extension, he won't take much less. The Bears don't want WR to be 20 or 25% of any future cap, I doubt both are on the roster in a few years. Odunze on a ro...

Re: The 2024 Draft
Why? i'll just reply to this one...as I love its preciseness. :D Odunze is a great kid, and a truly special talent. That being said, I think the performance of DJ Moore last year wasn't just exceptional--it was downright heroic . Moore might not be a top ten guy, IMHO. He might be a TOP FIVE guy. I...

Thought I read this a.m. that Cunningham talked Poles down from trading up for Odunze. So glad it worked out, just love Odunze.

Re: So, how do we address our last hole on the team?
Braswell, Isaac (both of whom will probably be gone before pick 75), Austen Booker, Jalyx Hunt, Marshall Kneeland, Trice, Jonah Ellis, Brandon Dorlus - one of those guys at DE has to still be available. Fiske, Michael Hall at 3T. Sweat, Jackson (Texas A&M), Ruke Orhoroho from Clemson, Wingo and ...

Re: 2024 BFO Draft Contest
If there is a logjam tie among multiple members, chaos will reign and I will come up with something, perhaps a parking lot knife fight. Good thing I got a new knife for my birthday and have been practicing. This is looking likely. I’m one of 10 with a perfect score so far. Draft hats at 10 paces...

Where are the 'traditional' Chicago Bears and what have you done with them, Ryan Poles?
There will be some DEs and DTs on the board at 75.

Truly one of favorite Bears games of all-time. I was going ape shit after McMahon came in and threw those TD passes (I don't tend todo this during games). I began to get a real good feeling about the team after that one. Wear it tonight, brother, and let's see the magic flow again. This may be the ...

Re: Bears New Stadium Nonsense Repository
1. The stadium looks great. Remove Soldiers Field, it's a wash for having a stadium on the lakefront 2. Warren says the Bears need to get working by May. It ain't gonna happen. The money won't be available, Friends of the Lake are just getting warmed up 3. $2 billion from the Bears. $300 million fro...

Re: Caleb Williams News and Rumor thread
Will 60+ years of lots of bad fan years actually be coming to an end? A skilled OC who develops QBs. A decent OL which with the FA centers should be improved. TEs improved. WRs improved and will be better if Poles adds one more. Decent D which will be improved with another DE or 3T. 12 hours to go.

Re: Is It Too Soon For Thoughts On Pick #9?
Quality versus quantity. 1999: the Saints trade their entire draft plus the following year's 1st and 3rd to the Dedskins for the draft pick giving them Ricky Williams, who was gone after 3 years. Then the Dedskins traded their 1-12 to the Bears for 1-7, a 3rd, 4th, and 5th, and a 3rd in the followin...
