Re: Yes, a 2025 Dane Brugler Mock
I'm waiting to see how Poles engineers another trade with them for that #1, picking their pocket at the same time. I know some GMs say the best draft is one in which each side wins but you have to admit it's been fascinating to see how the trade for the 2023 #1 pick has laid the foundation for futu...

Also, he has the Panthers picking first in his mock, so that would mean that the second rounder would be pick 33. 2024 Draft by Schools
The Pac12 went out with a bang. The SEC, as usual, had a boatload of players taken. Michigan not only won the national championship but had the most players taken in the draft:

Heck, let's shoot for the meatball moon. Kmet also goes over 1000 yards.HisRoyalSweetness wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 2:56 pm Meatball prediction:
For the first time in Bears history they will have 3 WRs finish the season with more than 1,000 yards receiving even though Allen misses several games due to injury.

Interesting read on Jamree Kromah. I'm not sure of his impact this year but perhaps in '25:

The Bears set a new record by finishing with a 20-0 record and putting to sleep those obnoxious old Dolphins players drinking champagne when the last undefeated team loses After not reaching agreement with Arlington Heights on taxes and not wanting to fight Friends of the Park for a lakefront stadiu...

Re: The 2024 Draft
Because Poles is one of 32 holding the position of NFL GM in the world We're Joe Palookas reading whatever we can on the Internet, a lot of which is about ... Poles and his decision making and building of the team. So I tend to believe that he'll get it right more than we will but there will be tim...

Re: R3 P75: Kiran Amegadjie, OT - Yale
Physically he's more an OT than a G. I imagine he'll get his snaps this year at both positions when starters get injured. I think he'll be the starting LT in 2025.

Re: 2024 Draft: Is This Our Greatest Draft Ever?
1983 was pretty darned good... Jimbo Covert Willie Gault Mike Richardson Dave Duerson Tom Thayer Richard Dent Mark Bortz And none of those players also involved paying an exorbitant salary which come along with Sweat and Allen. It was a great draft year for the Bears. This one give me hope to produ...

Yes, yes it does make more sense. Just like some of us told you all off-season. Where you became a condescending dick about it and then got proven wrong. But it's all good. You'll be enjoying the modern Bears and praising the offense before long. Explain why? And, also explain why if Poles makes a ...

Don't think anyone saw that coming. He was the best weapon on Iowa last year. I was a bit disappointed that an Irish guy announced the pick, not HRS or DD.

Re: The 2024 Draft
If you look at this draft in its totality, it’s pretty wild. #1: Caleb Williams #9: Rome Odunze #40: Montez Sweat #75: Kiran Amegadjie #110: Keenan Allen #122: TBD #144: Ryan Bates Can't forget #7 N'Keal Henry but it was an attempt to get a WR from the bargain basement. Laying it out this way might...

Re: The 2024 Draft
Have you seen WR extensions this offseason? Moore's going to want something similar. Allen's making $23M this year; if the Bear sign him to an extension, he won't take much less. The Bears don't want WR to be 20 or 25% of any future cap, I doubt both are on the roster in a few years. Odunze on a ro...

Why? i'll just reply to this one...as I love its preciseness. :D Odunze is a great kid, and a truly special talent. That being said, I think the performance of DJ Moore last year wasn't just exceptional--it was downright heroic . Moore might not be a top ten guy, IMHO. He might be a TOP FIVE guy. I...

Braswell, Isaac (both of whom will probably be gone before pick 75), Austen Booker, Jalyx Hunt, Marshall Kneeland, Trice, Jonah Ellis, Brandon Dorlus - one of those guys at DE has to still be available. Fiske, Michael Hall at 3T. Sweat, Jackson (Texas A&M), Ruke Orhoroho from Clemson, Wingo and ...

If there is a logjam tie among multiple members, chaos will reign and I will come up with something, perhaps a parking lot knife fight. Good thing I got a new knife for my birthday and have been practicing. This is looking likely. I’m one of 10 with a perfect score so far. Draft hats at 10 paces...

Where are the 'traditional' Chicago Bears and what have you done with them, Ryan Poles?
There will be some DEs and DTs on the board at 75.
