Just read a proposal for Allen and Herbert to KC for Trey Smith. I think the guy was half-serious.

It's increasingly looking like both Jenkins and Davis will be gone next year. So, 2 guards, maybe OT and C also, wow.

Re: Game Balls and Horns Wk 4 vs LAR
The past is the past, stop rehashing the 'what-if' game. Latu, Verse, and Dallas Smith were available. Last year the Bears could have taken Jalen Carter instead of Darnell Wright. It could have been Watson or Mahomes rather than Trubisky. Hell, this year the Bears could have taken Jayden Daniels in...

The Bears add value to that 2025 2nd round pick they have from Carolina by putting on the big hurt. Carolina mgmt and coaching break out in tears at the job done by Caleb, D.J., Stephenson, et. al. while Bryce Young molders on the bench.

Enjoyed reading this about DeMarcus Walker recognizing something with the Rams offense and directing Taylor to take advantage of it:

Hey Rich, I'm recommending this for a low maintenance front lawn: 1. Plant a dogwood tree. They typically grow upwards of 15 to 25 feet tall. The Kousa variety is good for shade but others do better in sun. Available with White, Pink, and Red flowers. Will grow upwards of 1 to 2 feet per year. Red ...

I give a Ball to the entire D. Holding a team to 17 points. 3 sacks. 1 INT (with another called back). Also causing a fumble and recovery. Yeah, they gave up yards and long drives but in the best traditions of Cover-2, held for FGs and only a single TD, then stopping the 2 point conversion. Give ano...

Re: Caleb Williams Mega-Thread
On back to back 2nd half possessions, Caleb led the team to 70+ yard drives ending in TDs. I'm trying to remember the last time that's happened. Plus no turnovers. He handled the Bears' heavy use of no-huddle well in the 2nd half, which, again, I can't remember the last time offensive adjustments we...

Not cassettes, 8-tracks, they were different. I bought a Panasonic all-in-one stereo back then. AM-FM radio and tuner, amp, phonograph, 8-track player and recorder. Could record to 8-track from the phono or from radio, burned a few live concerts from radio. Biggest problem on 8-track was there were...

Probably on Sheridan Road, probaby drove past it many a time. Back in the day, '71 and there abouts, we'd put a $1 worth of gas in my '65 Chevy (3 gallons worth back then) and cruise up and down Sheridan all night, smoking the weed and listening to my home burned 8 tracks. You could home burn 8 tra...

Where do you live? Have any trees and shrubs in the front yard already? Poles frustration with Flus growing? According to SM and our favorite, Lambert, Poles expressed it several times during the Colts game. The Bears don't fire coaches midstream, don't know if that will change anytime soon, but the heat under Flus is getting more intense each week: https://www.sportsmo...

PFF was started and it run by Chris Collinsworth.... that tells you all you need to know about their shitty rankings. Never knew that, say no more. Pryor is starting, just where is the question until the Bears decide on Wright's status. I doubt Kiran is any kind of consideration at RG or RT with hi...

To me he best thing is to get a very good pre-emergent down. If I don't do that I'm fight stuff that thrives in cooler weather until it heats up. Can you take a soil sample to U of I? Re: Week 4 // Bears (1-2) vs. Rams (1-2)
Colts were missing key defenders last week so the Bears, of course, couldn't run on them. Rams are missing their top 2 receivers but the D is playing very solidly, I don't expect a letdown from them. The Rams D has been porous on the run, just the Colts was, so this is going to be a key matchup; if ...

As one with a Masters in Agronomy, just remember grass is a big parasite. Feed and weed, water, you're just creating more work as it grows quite happily. If you insist on growing it (not a native meadow or clover spread), see if the soils in your area are acidic (most probable) and apply lime. Addi...

Washed up Sam Darnold has the Vikes at 3-0. The Pack loses their starting QB and is 2-0 behind a guy few thought should even be a league QB. Is this about the point that McCaskey or Poles or Warren sells their soul to get actual competent offensive coaching for the team before their #1 pick is wasted?

Looks like Pryor is going to start at RG. Early this week, with the Colts at 0-3 and the season looking bleak, they trade Quenton Nelson for the Bears' own 2nd round pick. The Colts at what? Yeah, a swing and a big miss on that one .... The Bears were the better team on paper but that coaching, yech.

Monty wouldn't be doing any better in this offense. Truth. "RoJo being featured would get us similar to Montgomery." After today he should be RB1. But I think 75% of the problem with Swift is a shitty run game strategy. More truth. Waldron used Kenneth Walker effectively in Seattle. RoJo ...

This game is nigh unwatchable. Fire Flus and the offensive staff.
