Yep, Poles did do something else and it was wonderful.

Re: R4 P122: Tory Taylor, P - Iowa
Love it. Who would have thought we would be clamoring over a punter in the 4th, lol.
Still think we have one or 2 more picks in us. Poles will do something else, in my opinion.

Re: Day 3
Lots of really nice TE's, safeties, and interior lineman but I'm seeing one of these two guys:
Austin Booker, DE, Kansas
Cedric Johnson, DE, Ole Miss
Ced is my boy, so I lean more toward him, if it was ne picking.
Watch for Eric Watts, DE, UConn and Brennan Jackson, DE, WSU, too.

Re: R3 P75: Kiran Amegadjie, OT - Yale
Boy, you could see that coming and I nailed it in the "draft day 2" thread.
Poles was all over him. Thick, quick, long arms, and a very solid individual. He will be a great swing tackle down the road.

Re: So, how do we address our last hole on the team?
Good call on the RAS there HRS! My man Cedric Johnson made the list. He's underrated, imo. Poles would be wise to snatch him up.

Re: The 2024 Draft
Big mistake by Poles. Very disappointing. Maybe his biggest gaffe thus far. Sorry man, can't agree. This is an excellent move. More targets for Cdub and he covers if DJ or more likely Allen goes down. Without Odunze, we were screwed. Just let Poles do his magic in the mid rounds moving up and down....

Re: The 2024 Draft
I'll put this here: The Bears are about to become something we have never seen or imagined as Bears fans. Yes, we had the mid 90's and an iconic back but this team, with this QB, and a dominant young defense, we WILL be the next dynasty team. We have never had the privilege to have a dynasty QB in C...

Re: Caleb Williams News and Rumor thread
Will 60+ years of lots of bad fan years actually be coming to an end? A skilled OC who develops QBs. A decent OL which with the FA centers should be improved. TEs improved. WRs improved and will be better if Poles adds one more. Decent D which will be improved with another DE or 3T. 12 hours to go....

Re: Is It Too Soon For Thoughts On Pick #9?
At this point, I really think the 4 QB's go first and then the 3 WR's next, with teams trading up hard for them. Thats 7 picks right there so it will leave us with Alt, Turner, Bowers, Murphy, and Verse. Who's your Grizzly? I take Alt or Turner all day.

Re: 2024 Draft - How Many Picks?
So the whole "Grizzly" talk from Poles, I'm going to trust. I think he stays put at #9 and takes one of his grizzlys. He seens to like his mid round picks and seems pretty damn good at them. I'm guessing he trades back several times from that 3rd round and ends up with a shit ton of 4, 5, ...

Re: My Guy for the 2024 Draft
Been doing a lot of 3rd round and down guys. Some of the listed prospects may be late 2nd but have a chance to gwt into the third. Here are the top 4 "my guys" and then a list of others I like. 1. Jermaine Burton, Alabama, WR- very good hands, great deep threat, and experienced. Great get ...

Re: 2024 Offseason Program
Sorry, still can't get on the Swift move. Too many disappointments when he played here for the Lions. Always hurt or had excuses. Didn't seem to give a damn. I hope he's changed and I'll root for him but not overly excited about the move. Not a Swifty in more ways than one, lol

Re: 2024 Offseason Program
I am really pumped for this season, probably higher on this team then the second year of Nagy, lol. Hope the results are better. I have a good feeling that Dexter and Pickens are going to shine this year, especially if we get a DE opposite of Sweat. Also love having Moore, Allen, Kmet for CW to trus...

Re: 30 Visits
Not seeing Brian Thomas Jr. or Adonai Mitchell on the list in the event we trade down is troubling to me. Both guys offer the size, speed, and big play ability that would compliment Allen and Moore. Xavier Worthy should not be on this list, imo. He is a combine darling who doesn't have the size or h...

DJ Moore's Comment
Do you think DJ Moore has come to peace with the comment he made about JF being better? I'm pretty sure he is going to find out very shortly that he was dead wrong. Having 2 WR's with 1,000 yards plus will be very nice. Love DJ but I think he's going to be very wrong.

Re: What would it take for you to move from the 1.1 pick
This present is wrapped and ready for a draft day delivery. There is no way in hell the Bears aren't taking CW, no matter what offers are made now. I think I'm very ok with it too.

Re: Caleb Williams News and Rumor thread
The big question for C Dub is can he break the Eric Kramer Bears record of 3838 yards and 29 TD's in his first year or will he have to destroy it his second year?

Re: Caleb Williams News and Rumor thread
Watching more and more film of CW lately and I don't see Mahomes, I see a more football smart Dak Prescott, with a hint of Aaron Rodgers pocket movement and creativity. Mahomes is just on another level with his creativity and escapability. I don't see CW having that in film.
