Re: Old Bear Fan

It is tough to Judge Fields right now. The first thing he needs is an offensive line, I mean a good one. Watched the Colts game and man do they have that. Their line punishes people. We need to see what we have in our rookie lineman and build that first. Then a plan that uses the running game and ti...

Great story Yogi. I remember DG from the old board. Very passionate about his postings. Loved to read them. Rest in piece.

Re: Week 6 // Chicago Bears (3-2) vs. Green Bay Packers (4-1)

It looks like an over under predication game. If we keep The pack under 20 points we can win. Between 20 and 24, will be close. Over 24 we will lose. As someone predicted, a special team score could be the difference. Bears 23, Pack 20.

Re: Nagy: Fields is #1 starting QB going forward

Like the decisions no matter who made them. I am in a wait and see mode. Still have questions about Lazer. Why was he out of football and what is the connection with him and Nagy? Hopefully he has learned and can scheme his offense to the players we have. When I see some tight ends get used I believ...

Re: Over/Under JF1 snaps vs Bengals

How about this. Nagy and Pace know we do not have a playoff caliber team and will hold Fields back and play him late in the year. This way they will win a few games and look good, and probably keep their jobs. I think he needs to play now if we have any chance to win the division or make the playoff...

Re: Pocket Passer or Dual Threat

The top QB's all have one thing in common, vision. They can read a defense and find the open man. What i see in Rodgers, Mahomes and other top QB's is mobility. Not a true duel, but extending the play with moving in the pocket. I think Montana had the gift of vision, mobility and could feel the pock...

Re: Future QB Discussion

Like this thread, lots of ideas about the next QB. I hope Pace doesn't over pay or trade a lot of draft choices again for a QB to try and save his job. We really need to build through the draft. A vet that doesn't break us would be fine. After watching Jones Monday made me look twice at drafting him...

Re: Would the Bears trade for Watson?

Looking at some mock drafts, some have us taking Jones from Alabama in the 2nd round. Not sure it will happen but I would be good with this.

Boris my man, thanks for posting that. I remember seeing this on TV. Watching sweetness at his best, almost forgot how great he was. The high stepping was beautiful. Glad they put the "block" in there. Awesome.

Re: My Boy: Tommy Stevens

The Indy star did an article on him today. He is wanting to play and as you pointed out he is big and fast. They did show his injury background and he has a hard time staying on the field. I would bring him in but not sure about using a draft choice.
