Re: Style discussion

Just got an email from "DISCORD" to change my user name by March 4th or it will create a unique one for me. Was this sent by the admins on this board or a scam?

Re: Bears’ Inner Meatball ProgNootstications

That is my point, maybe I didn't make it clear. I want to trade the first pick for a major haul and the give Fields weapons and every opportunity to make it work. But our QB situation is not fixed yet, hence drafting someone later who the coaches feel good with. Let him sit and learn behind Fields. ...

Re: Bears’ Inner Meatball ProgNootstications

I agree Noots, trading that 1st pick will give us a lot more to work with. Need to see what happens in free agency to give us a better idea for the draft. Keeping JF1 means you could draft a QB in the 3rd or 4th round. Who knows, maybe that pick could be the next surprise QB. They would have time to...

Re: What will Poles do QB draft (Your opinion)

I think they will draft a QB in later rounds. If Nix or Mcarthy fall to the 2nd, they could pull the trigger. Keep JF1 and let them sit and learn for a year.

Re: 5 Favorite Bears Memories

Thanks for the thread, makes me go back and wonder why I love this team, 1. Going to Bears practice my junior year with the football team. Was on crutches due to a clip in practice. Halas stops by in his golf cart and asked what happened, told him and he said jump in. Got to ride on to the practice ...

Re: Week 5 // Bears (2-2) @ Vikings (3-1)

Ark, your enthusiasm is contagious. Getsy starts off calling quick passes to running backs in the flat, a few screen passes which spreads the defense. Then we run the ball down their throats. Close first half with the Vikes taking a 17 to 13 lead. Half time adjustments and the D comes alive. 2 picks...

Close game but Bears win 20 to 13. Kmet finally shows up. Running attack looks good. Passing game opens up a little more and adds balance to the offense.

Bears 17 SF 10. Defense gets 2 turnovers. We control the clock with good running game and quick passes. Kmet will have a big game.

Re: Old Bear Fan

It is tough to Judge Fields right now. The first thing he needs is an offensive line, I mean a good one. Watched the Colts game and man do they have that. Their line punishes people. We need to see what we have in our rookie lineman and build that first. Then a plan that uses the running game and ti...

Re: Week 6 // Chicago Bears (3-2) vs. Green Bay Packers (4-1)

It looks like an over under predication game. If we keep The pack under 20 points we can win. Between 20 and 24, will be close. Over 24 we will lose. As someone predicted, a special team score could be the difference. Bears 23, Pack 20.

Like the decisions no matter who made them. I am in a wait and see mode. Still have questions about Lazer. Why was he out of football and what is the connection with him and Nagy? Hopefully he has learned and can scheme his offense to the players we have. When I see some tight ends get used I believ...

Re: Over/Under JF1 snaps vs Bengals

How about this. Nagy and Pace know we do not have a playoff caliber team and will hold Fields back and play him late in the year. This way they will win a few games and look good, and probably keep their jobs. I think he needs to play now if we have any chance to win the division or make the playoff...

Re: Pocket Passer or Dual Threat

The top QB's all have one thing in common, vision. They can read a defense and find the open man. What i see in Rodgers, Mahomes and other top QB's is mobility. Not a true duel, but extending the play with moving in the pocket. I think Montana had the gift of vision, mobility and could feel the pock...
