Re: GB game rewatch
The Bears could have offered 9 and every pick in the next two drafts. I’m sure that would have got it done.
Would have been brilliant.

How many offers did McCarthy get again?
According to Ditka? Only 1 less than Ben Johnson
Going to need to see your sources.

All players are available for a trade, if you offer the right deal.
And so is my 2007 Toyota provided you want to pay what I'm asking for it so I can buy a new one.
We sent two 1st round picks to LV for Mack. Would you have paid that much for Sweat if that was DC's asking price. What would ...

Re: Running Backs - where do we go
I can’t help you with basic comprehension.
The talent is not there in the draft, you can have 100 picks but you can only pick the talent which is on offer.
OL rarely hit FA, but if it does, few guards are rated higher than your mate Teven Jenkins and few centers are rated higher than ...

Re: GB game rewatch
So just explain why Poles couldn’t use pick 9 and say, I don’t know, someone great like Velus Jones or Zacch Pickens to trade up for pick 5?
Or maybe pick 9 plus our next 3 years worth of R3 picks for pick 5?
What was the barrier to trading up?
I'm going to think on stuff like this the ...

Where we violently differ is whether we believe Poles is competent to upgrade the O line and whether the opportunity is there this offseason..

Caleb was top 3 sacks ever in the history of the NFL.

Yeah but you’re assuming we don’t trade up to take the best OL on the board.
On that basis it’s misleading to suggest those were Poles options.

I don't think KC has the money to sign Smith. Possibly a sign-and-trade but those aren't too common in the NFL like in the NBA. If Smith was absolutely the best guard out there, I'd say for Poles to spend the money, no questions asked. But he's not rated among the top guys in the league as a ...

It's always says it takes a few years to judge a draft class. If Amegadjie, with an actual NFL offseason, training camp and preseason, becomes a solid swing tackle then he won't have been a bad pick. If he develops into more then he will be a good pick. How about we just wait and see?
