Re: The 2024 Draft
Everybody gets excessively hopeful about late round picks for some reason. I think the people here making Maxx Crosby comparisons should be a tad embarrassed. It really comes down to me not seeing a need to trade up. So we traded a fourth round pick for this guy? Didn't we just get Keenan Allen for...

Re: 2024 Draft: Is This Our Greatest Draft Ever?
Looked it up--Kiper wasn't all that enthused about the Amegadjie, Taylor, OR Booker picks.
Hell, he gave Poles a "B" because of those picks--taking difference with Poles' choices, there.
I give Poles a "B" BECAUSE of those picks...I love all three of them. Weird.

Re: Post Draft Meatball Overreaction - Three Things
Side note: I think Gervon Dexter gets even scarier. This will most certainly happen. I'm calling it now. I don't think most folks really appreciate just how good he was in the games he excelled in. The Bears split with the Packers in the regular season but beat their ass in the first round of the p...

Re: UDFA
My man Keith Randolph!!! Watched him play high school basketball and then football at Illinois. Great kid, played this past season nicked up which cost him. I’ll be shocked if he can’t make the roster. Not explosive pass rush, but can occupy blockers and hold the line. Off-topic, but, just what the...

why does anyone even read or listen to Mel Kiper? Dude is always wrong and talks out of his ass. Well, I don't always (or even often) agree with him anymore...but I am interested in what he has to say. Williams was the #1 guy on his board, and he LOVED us getting Odunze. Weird he'd give us a 'B'...

Yes, yes it does make more sense. Just like some of us told you all off-season. Where you became a condescending dick about it and then got proven wrong. But it's all good. You'll be enjoying the modern Bears and praising the offense before long. Explain why? And, also explain why if Poles makes a ...

Re: The 2024 Draft
Merging some of the rando draft related threads. Thank you. It was getting sort of confusing. DJ Moore will be just 29 in 2026 so I believe that if he's healthy and productive Poles will look to extend him for another 3-4 years during the 2025 season. These two expiring deals is one reason why draf...

Re: So, how do we address our last hole on the team?
The better prospect is always the better pick, all things being equal. It’s not like the Bears couldn’t use a WR. So, if Daniels had slipped to #9, and was the highest ranked player on the Bears board, they should have drafted him? Moore and Allen were already the best one-two WR punch in the league.
