Re: Bears New Stadium Nonsense Repository
Interested to see the proposal - if the Bears aren’t going to play in the city it would be hard to beat that Arlington Heights property.

NFL/Bears Simulate Off-Season/Free Agency Tool
Pro Football Network put together an 'Off-Season Manager' that lets you act like a team GM. Similar to SpoTracs, but better designed.

A DE to keep an eye on - Charles Omenihu. Currently in the last year of his deal with Kansas City he missed most of this season with a torn ACL he suffered in last years AFC championship game but he’s back for the playoffs this season. An extremely long armed athlete he had 7.5 sacks for the Chiefs ...

The family put out a statement saying Jauron had been experiencing some dementia type symptoms and was very recently diagnosed with a brain tumor/cancer. Apparently progressed very quickly and Jauron wasn’t in any condition to be aware of it and wasn’t in any pain.

Well we know it couldn't be the passing game coordinator because that was Thomas Brown and in response to a direct question he said straight out that he hadn't spoken to Caleb before becoming interim OC. They kept the group small so Caleb didn't have too many voices in his ear.

Kevin Warren was the fundamental change you are asking for. He's only just arrived and we've already seen a startling difference in approach and professionalism. His presence has made the ownership group irrelevant in terms of football operations. As I said in another post, we need to look at ...

FWIW - which isn't much - Dillingham claims Skattebo hit 21.8mph on the GPS in practice this year. He had said that in previous off-seasons Skattebo would have had a hard time hitting 20mph, but that he had made some training changes in an effort to become faster. Dillingham claims it worked.

The other issue I have with Jeanty is that I’m not sold on the level of competition he played against week-in, week-out.
Well put, it’s kind of what wanted to say. When he did come up against tougher opposition he was wrapped up a lot easier.
Like Oregon? He only averaged 7.7 yards a carry ...

I think I would still pick Smith and push all the rest of my chips in on retaining Shelton. Smith makes whoever is at center better and I'm not sure that Dalman would have the same effect on the guards next to him.
This. Smith is going to make Shelton a better player and whoever the Bears ...

6'4" 270 lbs seems to be the meal ticket.
Montez Sweat - 6056 262 lbs
DeMarcus Walker - 6036 280 lbs
Darrell Taylor - 6035 267 lbs
Austin Booker - 6044 245 lbs
I think Taylor is a free agent.

Jack Sawyer
Shemar Stewart
Nic Scourton ...

Cole Kmet a good player at a position that's been hard for the Bears to replace. We have pages of people wanting to Greg Olsen him.
First 5 years:

That would have been Orgeron's last two seasons at LSU. Wonder if he stayed on as an analyst - either to finish out his contract or as a favor to Orgeron. Dude is a lifer - probably realized fairly quickly that he was bored without coaching.
Is he any good? I know nothing about the dude ...
