Re: R1 P9: Rome Odunze, WR - Washington

Oh and the fact that we might look back on this draft 10-12 years from now as the greatest Chicago Bears QB and WR tandem in franchise history :D

Re: R1 P9: Rome Odunze, WR - Washington

What I love the most about this pick is he's going to have at least one year to watch/study/learn from Keenan Allen. That is fucking HUGE for a player like Rome Odunze.

Re: The 2024 Draft

The Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, Colts and Jaguars are among the teams that have been exploring a trade up. Philly and New Orleans, as I see it, might be competing with each other for a tackle, perhaps Oregon State’s Taliese Fuaga (who could sneak in the top 10 to the ...

Re: Caleb Williams News and Rumor thread

Will 60+ years of lots of bad fan years actually be coming to an end? A skilled OC who develops QBs. A decent OL which with the FA centers should be improved. TEs improved. WRs improved and will be better if Poles adds one more. Decent D which will be improved with another DE or 3T. 12 hours to go....

Re: Is It Too Soon For Thoughts On Pick #9?

At this point, I really think the 4 QB's go first and then the 3 WR's next, with teams trading up hard for them. Thats 7 picks right there so it will leave us with Alt, Turner, Bowers, Murphy, and Verse. Who's your Grizzly? I take Alt or Turner all day. At this point I make the pick at #9 if one of...

Re: Is It Too Soon For Thoughts On Pick #9?

If there's a blue-chipper there we will take him.

If not and we have a cluster of players we like equally, we'll trade down.

More and more I am hoping JJ McCarthy is available at #9 and we sell to the highest bidder 😈

Re: Is It Too Soon For Thoughts On Pick #9?

Caleb. Daniels. Maye. Harrison. Nabers. Odunze. Alt are the definite blue bloods. If any of the WRs or LT are still there at #9, do we see the Bears draft rep sprinting up to the podium? Bowers, Murphy, Turner, Olu slightly below them; these are the guys I can see Poles trading down for if still av...

Re: Is It Too Soon For Thoughts On Pick #9?

I could be completely wrong, but I just feel like this Murphy-to-the-Bears talk is a lot of nonsense. Murphy isn't even close to what the Bears look for in a 3T. This isn't Lovie Smith's Bears. I could be completely wrong, but I just feel like this Murphy-to-the-Bears talk is a lot of nonsense. Mur...

Re: Tampering Cases May Be Decided Before the Draft

And the Eagles are also in hot water with Saquan Barkley. So much smoke on this .... I've read everything from the Vikings/Falcons swap R1s (then you're punishing other teams who did nothing wrong) to turn the Falcons #8 into #32 to have them a lose a 3rd and a 5th. I do think it will happen before...

From Albert Breer this morning: What you need to know: The Bears traded Justin Fields before St. Patrick’s Day, and they invited only one quarterback to Lake Forest for a top-30 visit (in-house visits with prospects before the draft). During that visit, Caleb Williams dined with vets at a separate ...

Re: Is It Too Soon For Thoughts On Pick #9?

I've been running this logic through my head and I'm not liking the answer I keep coming up with. WR just isn't making logical sense to me. We traded a 4th for Allen. We are taking CW at #1. Allen is a UFA after this season, and we aren't really in a position to think Super Bowl this year. So, a lo...
